JH Lee: Let's see some pictures beckisman! May 18, 2021 4:22:37 GMT
beckisman: Got the Katana today, it's so beautiful and I'm so happy that I bought it 😁 May 17, 2021 16:00:20 GMT
RufusScorpius: I wear a mask because I have the alien face-hugger one and it's like public cosplay to me. It goes well with the Nostromo hat. Although I do get tired of people thanking me for my "service". May 17, 2021 12:28:55 GMT
jerrykong: Does someone use Telegram here? Can recommend some good channels/groups/ to use? 8-) May 17, 2021 8:04:27 GMT
AJGBlack: I'm still wearing it even though I'm fully vaccinated. I may be a carrier. Last thing I want is to be the cause of someone croakin' off. Also, humans are filthy. I'll likely wear it while in crowded spaces for a while yet. May 17, 2021 4:20:20 GMT
JH Lee: Meh. It just feels to me like a bunch of a-holes are eagerly re-living the petty power-trip of being middle school hallway monitors. Personally, I just don't have the time or energy to be bothered, so I keep wearing mine. May 17, 2021 3:39:34 GMT
aldarith: and that means you can give it to unvacced folk. The catch here is the 'when' is it ok to stop? 60% vaccination? 80% etc etc May 17, 2021 3:19:11 GMT
aldarith: The thing with the vaccines is that you can still be a carrier, the idea behind the vaccine is that you are less likely to be sick and if you DO manage to get sick you will suffer less severe symptoms. You can still carry it though May 17, 2021 3:18:28 GMT
JH Lee: Anyone else just keeping their masks on even after being vaccinated to avoid dealing with the tantrums of nosey idiots/busybodies? Feels like not worth the hassle.... May 17, 2021 1:56:33 GMT
Eric Bergeron: Hey Christian I sent you a PM on the tomahawk, haven't heard from you, you said it was urgent to PM you. May 14, 2021 3:14:50 GMT
christain: I wish mine had sound. If I could see the flame, feel the warmth---and hear crickets and distant thunder---lights out.----McM May 11, 2021 16:29:25 GMT
chatarracrow: We have a nice LED fireplace that changes colors. In the morning I turn it light blue and get a little beach water window. May 11, 2021 4:55:09 GMT
christain: I've got one of those TV screen fireplaces that blows out warm air. Got it in our bedroom right below the real TV. It's nice on a cold winter night. Puts us right to sleep. Dogs and cats like it too! :D May 10, 2021 17:23:44 GMT
chatarracrow: The best I have is bringing my camping stove out and having a fire on one of the apartment rebar grills. Otherwise I have two nice LED lanterns that give off a good enough fire look. May 10, 2021 16:56:29 GMT
RufusScorpius: Yes. We don't need "therapy" or "programs" (not that men have access to any). All we need is some quiet time with a few trees, maybe birdsong and the warm sun in our face. That's all it takes to level the brain. May 10, 2021 14:18:18 GMT
christain: The part about 'balance our thoughts and emotions' is totally true. Between work and worries, a man needs some time just to sort out the details and calm down. Too much stress in life. It'll get to you if you don't do SOMETHING. May 10, 2021 13:49:49 GMT
RufusScorpius: I know for me I never get enough opportunities to wash off the stink of civilization and go back to my roots in nature. That's what men need to balance our thoughts and emotions. May 10, 2021 12:54:28 GMT *
RufusScorpius: This opens another entire discussion about men's mental health, which is completely neglected by society as an actual "thing". Sometimes a man just needs a walk in the woods, a fire (with a hunk of meat cooking), and a brew to clear the head. May 10, 2021 12:51:55 GMT *
christain: Sitting by a fire and having a few brews is when I've done some of my best thinking...AND cried quite a bit. Looking up at the stars on a cold, clear night has a way of putting life in perspective. May 10, 2021 12:04:44 GMT
RufusScorpius: Beer and a camp fire is good for the soul anytime, any season May 10, 2021 10:33:48 GMT *
