A friend asked me to try and find out what these are. They are being offered at an estate sale in Tallahassee, and no info besides the photo is available. From my own research, the combination of the brass 3-bar guard with a straight quillion and a backstrap rules out ALL of the usual types {US M1833, M1840, M1860 M1902; UK P1822/45; numerous French, Italian, German, Austrian, Swedish and Dutch types, etc.}. The grip profile is also peculiar, looking vaguely Italian to me (but the hilt matches none I've found, on other points). My gut feel is that these are inaccurate or "synthetic" repros that I'm not familiar with. Does anyone recognize them? Thanks for reading.

Ah, Tallahassee. Go Noles!
Also, it’s hard to tell for sure from the photo, but these have generic repro / wall decoration characteristics.

Looking on a nice computer monitor, and I agree with pellius...repro wall hanger pieces. Those grips just scream modern reproduction.
