Finished up customers Legendary Edition Gungnir (Odin's SPear) The one piece true full tang spear body is made of skeletonized 1/4" thick 1095 High Carbon steel
and features Voodooresin Bolsters with burnt Mohagany grip scales.
The entire spear is heat treated, not just the Head. Blade features a heavily worn and etched finish imbued with Bind Runes and staves. Big upgrade since mine, i bought one years back and the first cut i made with it the tsuka snapped in half revealing that the tang was only 9" long on a 16" tsuka.

Finished up this Sleeping Dragon Seax with Gorgeous figured walnut grips and a 1095 high carbon steel blade.
Blade features crisp very deep etchings in a sleeping dragon motif with a rock textured spine and antiqued finish.

As a maker/seller this is a real issue to deal with, more often so in winter time because the blade can fog up inside the packaging and rust before it gets to where its going if the temperature changes are too wild. Sad.

Man I love this! Unfortunately I've spent too much lately, and a sheath to do it justice would take it over the top of what I should be spending :-(. Hope whoever winds up with it appreciates it! You could always get the sheath later >___> I can make a cardboard template of the blade.

the only problem is chinese sites love to call stuff brass/bronze when its really just painted zinc, thats why i asked if anyones actually scuffed a set irl to see if they really are or not

can anyone confirm whether the fittings are real brass/bronze and not zinc alloy painted? How would you like me to test it? the only way i know of is to put a deep scratch and see if its yellow underneath or dull grey
