Tera, I realize that at the low point swords sell for (relativity) buyers think that PayPay goods and services is great. For swords, I don't mind it. But for high end items like watches few sellers will accept it. Basically, there is NO protection for the seller and scams abound where the buyer is the scammer. I sold and purchased here and My Armoury for years and the worse I got was a couple of not well described swords. It's sad that this permeating our community. But don't think that PayPay G&S protects anyone but the buyer as that is who they are set up to protect. the other problem is paypals ridiculous goods and services fees, nobodys trying to lose 300$ in fees selling a 2500$ sword.
and now you get a damn 1099 form from the IRS if you make ONE SWORD SALE.

Finshing up customers tactical Glaive.
Made from a solid piece of 1095 high carbon steel with walnut grips and brass pins.
Hell of a pig sticker and weighs no more than a wood cutting axe at 5.5 lbs with a fairly neutral point of balance.

Thanks for sharing your experience. IMHO, you should not have to be afraid to write a review that has negative points. Quite the contrary, I find negative reviews the most valuable and helpful (keep in mind, the way I understand it, it is possible to write a negative review and still rate the product 10/10, we all value different things differently). If I may give you a piece of advice - do not ask others how to feel/think about a sword and its flaws. Do not even try to convince yourself in any way that a flaw is acceptable or not. Hold it in hand, move it around and see how YOU FEEL about it. If you feel great playing with the sword, keep it. If there is just one small flaw that can be fixed, and you know you like everything else, fix it. If there are more flaws that you dislike and you get that slight uneasy feeling about the whole business somewhere inside, sell or return the sword. Too often, the dream purchase ends in disappointment, but it can be a good learning experience. My point is, do not convince yourself that something is what it isn't for you, just because you wanted it to be so. Hope it makes sense this is a good outlook as well, and i think alot of folks will find that buying and owning swords will slowly make a handyman of you, you will learn little tricks and fixes for things, and ways to improve swords that are not inherently bad. This is how i became a maker to begin with.

Rattle in a scabbard is something i myself consider acceptable, reason being, wood is organic, it might fit flawless today but tomorrow when the humidity changes it might be tight or loose ext. BUT. pieces falling off, and sharp edges injuring you? Thats more serious and shouldnt be an issue you have to swallow. Thank you! I appreciate the insight. I've looked into scabbard rattle and wood types and there are some things that can't be accounted for when shipping from an arid location to a swamp or to the snowy north. I honestly like the foam insert idea, but on that note, is moisture buildup a concern in that instance? 'Injure' is a strong word. 'Snagged' would be better. lol But annoying nonetheless. And yeah, I laughed when the tip just, fell off. Absolutely, Your not supposed to store a sword in it's scabbard. I know a lot of people do and get away with it, but your not supposed to.

What do the heiroglyphs read? Here's a cleaned up photo of the etching, that you can trot over to the experimental Fabricius workbench AI hieroglyphic translation system at Google Arts and Culture, and get to work on it. artsandculture.google.com/story/gwXxcXwClTM8JA Remember that I'm not getting paid for this. IMHO, the OP should have provided a translation or a citation of the wall inscription publication.
Nice sword, BTW.
OP has no clue what the heck it says, LOL!!!!

Finished up Customers Khopesh with Egyptian Hieroglyph etchings and Paduk wood grips.
This one really came together Nicely.
Size specs are based on a museum piece as close as I was able to get, and the Hieroglyphs themselves are taken from an actual carved stone wall.
