So, the saya for the Musha Fire Dragon katana that I got from Trueswords is all cracked up after I accidentally dropped it. It's not that bad but I would like to get a new one, especially one that isn't loose to begin with. How would I go about getting another one? www.trueswords.com/Musha-Full-Tang-Fire-Dragon-Katana--Sword-36726 This is the product with the measurements. I used a ruler I had lying around and specs listed seem accurate enough.

Oh man, I have a custom orders from Sinoswords that was finished not too long ago. I ordered it at the beginning of October. I even got an email from Van with pictures last week, and another email last night with the tracking number. I'm a little worried it might not make it out.

PS4 and Xbox One. I'm not sure if the PC version is out. The base game of Final Fantasy XV was also on all three systems.

I have no experience with them, but Cheness have iato for sale. www.chenessinc.com/iaito.htmIt was reviewed here on this site as well. www.sword-buyers-guide.com/iaito.htmlI'm not sure if the SBG online store still sells the iato as I can no longer find it in the list of products. So maybe one can only get them from Cheness' site now.

I want a show about Gil-Galad wandering around and sticking his spear into some sexy balrogs. Wandering Gil-Galad...wandering samurai...samurai Gil-Galad. Are Peter Jackson's elves secretly fantasy samurai? Jk

Dark Souls aside, has anyone tried the Final Fantasy XV: Comrades multiplayer expansion? It's like a more simplified Monster Hunter and is pretty fun aside from the loading times that make grinding a pain.

It's always fun to see the RoosterTeeth guys doing shenanigans. Especially the Achievement Hunters.

Is it ever explained how Zouken was able to use Kojiro as a catalyst? As in, was he somehow able to cast some sort of spell on Kojiro but it's just never shown on-screen or in-text? I can't imagine Zouken could do that without Medea or Kojiro noticing but I might be overestimating their senses. It was just so sudden how two servants were taken out so early, even if one is an anomaly. Also, that E-rank luck moment was really upsetting to me. Then again, Medusa didn't fare well in the other routes either so I guess someone else has to have a moment to shine.

I saw the Heaven's Feel movie this weekend and I thought it was pretty good. Not too many action scenes but it was just enough to satisfy me. And damn, I didn't think it would look so nice on the big screen but then again, it is ufotable. Pretty visuals aside, the sound was on point too. I'm not sure if ufotable's other works had such good sound before or if the movie setting just made it more noticeable, but the mundane tapping of footsteps, clanking of machinery, and other things just sounded so lifelike. The intro credits was just a rehash of the first several episodes of the Unlimited Blade Works series but people who haven't seen it could have been confused with the sudden appearance of Saber in a raincoat with no real introduction at all.
Since this a different "route" from UBW, I knew that certain characters wouldn't be as prevalent while others would have a more active role. I did not expect True Assassin's appearance to drastically change the chess board, so to speak. On that note, I'm a little confused as to how True Assassin was summoned. He literally just popped out.

That U-shaped slot method is interesting. It also helps that the guy had pictures too. It seems simpler than the splitting-in-half method.

I'm curious as to how one would mount a blade with a tang to a pole as opposed to the socket method. I tried looking for tutorials online but there were no visuals to help guide a newbie like me. I'm not sure if the shaft should be split entirely in half, if only a section of it should be cut out then glued back on, or if a slot could be cut down the center and the tang would just be inserted into it. The bare blades by KC look good for the price soooo...

Then there's Ninja Gaiden and God of War. Those series can be pretty crazy on highest difficulty.

I think Demon's Souls is still my favorite. Who else remembers getting shot by giant stingrays flying in the sky while fighting rolling skeletons? Umbasa.

So is it safe to assume that fantasy elves were ripped and could beat orcs in arm wrestling?

I've been thinking about playing Dragon's Dogma again. Luckily, a remastered version was released for Xbone and PS4.

You could try Sinoswords/JKOO for custom orders. Several members here seem to really like their stuff. Of course, there's always the occasional lemon.

I just remembered the Lotus War trilogy written by Jay Kristoff. The setting is like a steampunk Feudal Era Japan with mythological beings thrown into the mix and I actually kind of liked it despite negative reviews. There's several non-explicit scenes and one of the characters even pokes fun at human mating behavior.

I know of at least 4 iterations of Gae Bolg in media. There's the polearm/halberd used by the Dragoons in Final Fantasy XIV. There's the red spear used by Cu Chulainn as a Lancer servant in Typemoon's Fate series. There's another red spear used by Scathach as a Lancer servant as well which looks different and is called Gae Bolg Alternative to separate it's identity from Cu's version. Finally, there's the one used by Cu Chulainn in the Smite MOBA game and it looks like a fancy Celtic style spear with little barbs on the spearhead. The Dragoon's version is the only I know that has been forged in real life but it looked kind of off. I would like to see a modern iteration of it by forges; Excalibur is hogging all the popularity

Wow that looks pretty cool. Now if only someone could make a "Gae Bolg."

You should give the Halo novels a shot. They really fill in a lot of the backstory and are a big part of the lore.
