Archery is a lot of fun. I used to have a cheap fiberglass bow that was really weak, probably a 10 or 20 pound draw weight. But man was it fun - I spent a lot of time out shooting at planks, milk jugs, and haybales. Broke or lost all the arrows though... Hmm, I should get back into archery too. There's something weirdly satisfying about an arrow thwacking right into a full plastic jug....

Fantasy elves would be ripped (at least the archers would), but orcs would probably be way more ripped.

BTW, from my research, archers usually (not European, talking about Thai, Indian, Korean etc) never had shoulder or physique problems. They had specific exercises to keep their bodies balanced and were actually pretty fit.

Interesting - I know Hawaiian Lua also teaches massage (Lua doesn't do archery, but it's still a martial art). |
