A really cool to look at (not sure about the functionality of a hamon that covers almost entire blade though....) sword by modern era smith Yoshimitu: world.seiyudo.com/product/ka-130612/

Not to be an a##hole, but if it's on eBay, the seller is a bidder 98% of time most items.
The best is the "second chance" offer you get 2 days later at your last bid.

Great work on reading the mei!
No papers, condition not that great, looks a bit short as well. $3600 can get you a much better sword.

Really? Maybe thicker front and rear sway bars? ......miss backseat on road trips. Look up the weight of a 2014 Camaro. It's not something that can be fixed unless big $$ and I like a cruiser instead of a sports ride.

Very Nice. You have the power and speed of a C 7 Corvette AND a....... backseat! But most certainly NOT the handling..... mine is a bruiser on corners.

No, that's blasphemy Haha! Yeah, one of my favorite engines is a Chevy 350, but love the Firebird/T.A. bodies. I have owned 8 Firebirds/T.A.s so far. The worse thing GM did was stop making them in 2002! Last year, bought my wife a C 7 Corvette. Fastest acceleration of any car I have driven. Love the late 60s Camaros and yours. C7's are evil fast cars. GM's best performance wise IMO ever. I loved the WS6 Firebirds from the late 90's. Wanted one so bad. Mine is the LS3 Corevette engine, with.....some modifications: -VMAX ported throttle body -CAI cold air intake -ARH 1 7/8' long tube headers - High Flow catalytic converters -Custom 93 octane engine computer reprogram So it's not really stock

If you are a John Carpenter film fan, and how can you not be, this new video for his album is stunning on audio and visuals. Enjoy:

Love SBG. Not on as much as I used to be (Nihonto bug bit hard) but always stop by every day a lot to see what is going on.
Agree 100%, this board is not snobby nor does it pass judgement on what someone likes or chooses to pursue. Lot's of great people and you will not get better help with a question anywhere else.

If you can, I would suggest Wally Hostetter to re-fit the sword. He won't break the bank and you can skip the miss match issues when selecting pieces on your own.

I LOVED all the submissions. All the stories were excellent and it meant a lot to me to see inside people's minds for a glimmer of an instant. All great submissions. I voted for Blade Runner's entry to be honest. I saw a lot that reminded me of my own path and that kind of pain, loss, and struggle is all too real. It really jumped out at me. Best of luck.

Ok, NOW I see the smiley. I was sorry if I'd diverted your thread. I wanted to share a cool example of hada from a smith. I had no other aim other than that, but DM me if you have some kind of issue with this post. Geez.

Thank you for posting it. It's truly beautiful. It's also a late shinshinto wak, and starts at 15 grand, so I'll copy the photos and hang onto my wallet. Haha totally correct. So nice to admire though, worth a look.
