Something pretty in the works! My very own recreation of Bronn's sword from the HBO series Game of Thrones! Still a WIP, but it's looking really nice! Pommel is made of sintered steel, with the designing work done by David MadMonkey Rende. I have a peen cap also being made for it to go over the end of it. There's still some finishing work being done to it by my friend, Jimbo Curry, and I'll update you all when the grip and final polish is done! Also, the grip is a bit longer than the show version, and the pommel doesn't have quite as long of a neck. Both of these changes I actually like, and already like the design of my sword more than the show version. Both of these men have been true pleasures to work with, and I highly recommend both if you ever want something done! I know I'll be doing business with both again! I'll update this thread again once the grip is done and the blade has been polished a bit more. To compare, here's some of the best images I could find of Bronn's sword.

The pommel is extremely unique, as I have yet to find a historical match for it. Next on the list is longclaw, then Jorah's sword.

Next on the list is longclaw, then Jorah's sword. and then oathkeeper? Judging by how much the pommel on this sword alone cost, I don't think I would be able to afford something like oathkeeper. Besides, it's not a design I care for that much anyway. Now Window's Wail on the other hand...

That is excellent work! You got that pommel nailed. Thanks! The neck isn't as long on it but that was a practicality choice. I didn't want that much strain on the pommel from having such a long thin neck.

Don't have it in my hand yet, these are progress pics from the maker. I've been told it has some presence for sure, but the thing handles well overall. Weighs 2lbs 11oz.

Congrats man, that is a beautiful sword made even more awesome by being what it is, the sword of Bronn
Now you just need a castle, a nice fookin' castle

Perfect. That grip wrap even matches. The pommel is functionally exact - and sintered steel, you said? Now you just need a proper scabbard instead of the leather sheath.

At first I didn't care for that pommel but it's really grown on me. I never paid much attention to Bronn's sword on the show but this sword fits the character perfectly. No frills, yet obviously made for someone who intends to use it and needs it to perform well. Just a gorgeous sword.
