I don't really know if you'd call them 'cult' films, but if you refer to films with a long following: "Enemy Mine" and "Battle Beyond the Stars" are two that I have watched no telling how many times. Love hokey sci-fi!....Chris

Every time I watch "Enemy Mine" and get a little tipsy, I always use the same quote: "Dis ees mah left foots...an'...dis ees mah right foots. Dees are bof' mah feets." ....Chris

not sure if I've got the definition of "cult" down right but,
Sword And The Sorcerer
Repo Man
The Evil Dead
Army Of Darkness (didn't especially care for Evil Dead 2)
Six String Samurai
Miller's Crossing
I'm sure there are more I'm not thinking of right now.

Some of my all time favorites have already been added. I'll add Tokyo Zombie and Yakuza Apocalypse. Maybe not quite cult status, but the John Carpenter/Kurt Russel films(Escape from New York/LA, The Thing and Big Trouble in Little China) are all superb.

Highlander, Krull, Mad Max, Predator, oh God...Commando. Really, we should sub categorize: like popcorn cult (Saturday afternoon) movies, really good movies, cheesy but fun flicks, etc...

howler, I am reporting you to be banned You cannot "remake" that film, nor Ben-Hur but they tried. And failed. You want cult? "Real Men":

"Real Men": I admit, I'm treading a VERY fine line and must be careful, lest Ernest Borgnine throw a Molotov cocktail on me from on high. However, you and I would probably have thought the same thing (now way you can make a competent Road Warrior remake) before Mad Max Fury Road.
