Blade Runner...and they are doing a remake. And for cheese...Beastmaster, featuring Rip Torn. No, they're making a sequel to blade runner. I'm very glad they're not doing a remake.

Oh man, I keep reading and seeing films that make me think "why didn't I think of that?" but it's good because it makes me re-watch them.

No way they could do a remake of that. The set design made the movie, as Hollywood was on strike or something, so they put an inordinate amount of time into it which enhanced the atmosphere. I think the sequel is actually made, as I saw a partial trailer with Harrison.

I'd even second Silverado and Open Range! And on that line (though it was a mini series) Lonesome Dove.

Again I give honorable mention to "Hawk the Slayer" from 1980. This is THE film that sparked my obsession for the sword, and one of my all time favorites. Here's a highlight video of the late, great, Jack Palance, stealing the film as "Voltan."

3 o'clock high.......great pull right from the start. Miller's Crossing I revisited recently, it's a winner too big time. Cohen Bros stuff is great, Fargo...love it.
Boondock Saints....when he jumps out the window with a toilet in tow to drop the hammer on the bad guys...does it get any better than that?
