Hey Skip!
Awesome work =). You should really upload the Kiko.
For those of you interested, I've handled the top sword, and it's quite beautiful. It belongs to my Sensei. I'm not positive but it may be for sale sometime in the near future. Don't quote me though.
Depending on how things work out, Skip may be handling the fitting out of my 13" tanto project as well. Again I'm not positive, as it may be sold as/is. But if not I'll be sending it out to Skip for finishing most likely, with a corresponding price increase.
At least I'll know it's in good hands =).

Thank you Cris,
I will be uploading more pictures to photobucket soon and I'll continue to update as time goes by.
I have 3 tsuka that are just about ready to wrap and I took some pictures this morning that will be posted soon. Preped for wrap are tsukas for a KC Hira, an Oni Forge thru hardened blade, and a Walter Sorrells Hira.
Other projects under way include another 3 Oni, another WS , and a few others :-) over the next month or so, I'll have many more to post. Maybe a custom tanto to do as well :-)
Today is a long day of making hishigame' A time consuming tedious task that seems to take forever :-) Oh, and the laquering of all three tsuka to black.
Take care,
Skip

Thanks Folks,
I'll have a some up late tonight. Thank you for the kind words.
It will take me a bit to figure out the terms and such here at SBG What exactly would a Poject Galary be :-) Am I posting these pictures in the right place?
Thanks again, more soon. Take care,
Skip

Cool This is a test picture I left it full size and wonder if it will be to large We'll see These are 3 of the tsuka underway at the moment. I'll probably only post one or two more showing the laquer work, then wait till they are finished wraped before posting more. Take Care, Skip

Hello Skip, I did not mean to imply that you posted in the wrong spot, sorry. I was just musing aloud that a gallery dedicated to pictures of people's work (like the collection gallery here) might be nice. But this is better, because we can make comments and ask questions Looking good! ;D Debbie

Hey Debbie, I see now :-) It will take me sometime to become use to a new forum, but I'll get it. Ok, laquer is done and they are ready for wrap. Oh, and the other sword uploaded at PB. and the album s80.photobucket.com/albums/j162/HardKnox_01/Zheng%20Wo/There will be several additions over the next few weeks, and early into next year. Then ... Who knows... The next one may be yours :-) ..... Take care all, Skip

Hello All, Sam, Thank you very much. Sorry its been so long to respond. Been a bit lax about updating things and responding to posts. I've just added another album at photobucket. I'm currently working on a PC Tsuru for a felow forumite and put up a few pictures of the now ready to wrap new tsuka. Have a couple wraps to finish up next week and then should be on to a couple new projects :-) Again, thank you all for the warm welcomes. Take care, Skip And the Album s80.photobucket.com/albums/j162/HardKnox_01/PC%20Tsuru%20Iaito%20WIP/

Hey Gang,
Marc, got your pm and thank you. :-)
Ichiban, thank you for the kind words.
I've recently had a couple members tell me that "others" had no luck reaching me via pm. Not sure what is up with that, but anyone interested is welcome to email me at SkipGardner@comcast.net I check my mail daily and will try to respond as quickly as possible.
Oh, and to answer a question from a pm. The tsuru same' is done in panels. All the others posted so far have been full same' wraps. Hard to tell the differance once the wood has been applied to the ha and mune of the tsuka.
Any other questions? Glad to answer any I can :-) Thanks again and take care,
Skip
