I know ca. 30 vaxxed people - most Biontech/Pfizer - with the same experiences I have: Mild side effects after the shots (fatigue, sore arm), no myocarditis, no covid.

Update: I have to travel/ fly back east next week to load up a vintage car I bought onto a truck and get it shipped to CA. On advice of my neighbor, a very brilliant surgeon and someone watching the covid situation very closely, I got a second booster of the Moderna vaccine last week. The only side effect I noticed was the usual sore arm at the injection point for a day and a half.
I have to fly and visit my 87 yo uncle and my cousins where the car is currently stored. I want to make sure I take every precaution to not bring covid into their house. I figured another shot... what the heck. I had three and one more; in for a penny, in for a pound.

Sounds like BS to me. But feel free to enlighten me with valid medical study data sources saying so. There is no different viral load between vaccinated and unvaccinated (there is a different viral load at any infection). But the vaccinated immune system fights the virus faster and better than the unvaccinated, so the time the virus can be spread is shorter. Between two persons with similar viral loads and similar social habits, the unvaccinated will spread the virus more. You can "talk" all you want but that is the literature I read, and information given to us by our research center. The vaccinations for the most part have also shown to be not-worth-a-semprini, so there's that. Enjoy the rest of your day. You're absolutely wrong. Enjoy your day, too.

I still need my booster. I haven’t got a third shot yet. Been tested 3 times with the Polymerase Chain Reaction test and came back negative every time. Got my flu shot too BTW. Had labs done when admitted to the hospital on Christmas and I’m apparently the picture of health EXCEPT for bad hyperthyroidism. I’m glad I found that out so I can get it treated.

Just got my Moderna booster a few hours ago. So far just a slight soreness in that area of the arm. Nothing near to what the original was like.

Just got my Moderna booster at 12:45pm EST. Started feeling dizzy about 2:45pm. So, downing lots of water and kicking back. No other issues so far.
Update: Last night I experienced fever, body aches, and chills like the first shot. Duration of fever was reduced, though. Today, just body aches and mild dizziness. Hydration is key.

Just got the moderna booster about 25 minutes ago. Only side effects are very mild tingling and stiffness in my left arm so far. By default that’s more than my first two Pfizer doses on account of having zero side effects from them but it’s an academic point in this case.

Last Monday I got my 5th booster vaccination... against polio, diphtheria, tetanus and whooping cough. No side effects at all, same with my flu shot two months ago, the first for over two decades. My three covid shots gave me no real illness but I felt that my immune system had hard work to do. I wonder why there is such a difference in reaction. The Covid19 virus must really be something our immune system isn't absolutely familiar with. This already is theoretical knowledge of course but it's different when you can feel it.

I received my 4th COVID-19 shot this morning and my flu shot Friday. Glad the state is paying for all this mess, I only footed the taxi tabs.

Two days ago I got my second booster, half the normal Comirnaty/BionTech/Pfizer stuff, half the new Omicron BA.4-5 stuff. Exactly a year and one day after my first booster. This time no feelable fatigue but a stronger reaction at the injection area, skin and muscle area a bit swollen and red, but bearable. Still no Coronavirus infection afaik (still a covirgin) and indeed over 2 1/2 years no cold at all.

2 years and still unvaxxed. I believe I may gotten COVID a month ago, but I only did a 10 minute home test and not a doc exam so can't be sure. Ngl tho, felt pretty sempriniesque and there were a few nights where I was abit scared to go to sleep...the long sleep. That being said I also have severe asthmatic issues and get pretty nasty bronchial infections every other year and most of the symptoms I usually get also line up with COVID, so it's hard to say what was really wrong with me.
Still abit iffy on the vax. My doc warned me last year because of my funky immune system and med treatment that it might not be a good idea, but Ive been off those meds since my insurance dropped me back in March so now might be the time to get jabbed... Pandemics are complicated when you're already a sickly semprini who's used to feeling like death lol.

Afaik you should wait 3 months after COVID before getting the jab, otherwise you can get problems too. A positive home test while having symptoms is probably right. But better ask a doc.
