MMMMhmmm, yes. Lotta options for that blade shape. (and yes, that Castle Keep sword is now part of SwordFan's horde  ) The scent-stopper and forward-swept guard combo is a favorite of mine. Have you seen the guards and pommels that ErnieR make at Yeshua's sword? Reminds me of a fancied up EMSHS guard form that would work well in that vein... But the octagonal guard/inset wheel pommel first version you spoke of is what really struck me. I like.

I've never heard of Yeshua, but holy cow those are awesome. I dig that Black Prince style guard, too....
And yes, the octagonal style 2 with the wheel inset with emeralds will be a really stunning combo. Would be even better if I could heat blue the fittings to a rich golden hue.
Sean actually did something similar with the emeralds on his 1557, which is what gave me the idea. It just looks amazing.

If money was no option - I would commission Peter Johnsson to make three swords. A war sword, bastard sword and viking sword.

I got a swordgasim looking at your sight! Love your work and keep an eye out for an e-mail from me about a sword that has been bouncing in my head for years.
This is also a place holder for when I have a chance to draw up the sword.
