Well, now I think I know where I will be getting my next couple swords. Since I want to be getting a jian and then maybe dao as my next couple purchases. I think I will have to try Garret out. Seeing the tang jian was the definite deal maker for me. I love those fittings on a jian. Of course I might have to order it soon so I will not have to die of waiting. Since I have my Kissaki-moroha-zukuri coming in the mail tomorrow or friday, I will have something to play with for a few months.
It sort of sucks that the custom sword link is not working on his site though. Hopefully it will be fixed soon.

My long wait is nearly over. Earlier this week Garrett sent me an email saying the sword had shipped and was on it's way to him for final inspection before he ships it to me. After this and my Fhtagn I'm gonna be sword po for awhile. Need to get some of these cards paid off, lol.

Production Swords Our production swords are ideal for those looking for a no frills, practice blade. All of the production line is forged from a single billet of AISI 1095 high carbon steel and gently quenched in oil. Through hardened to 57 HRC, they are highly resistant to lateral bends and are economical choices for both forms and cutting practice. For those looking for a little bit more art in their sword, options such as folded steel are available on special order. Our bread and butter. A personalized sword can be created using a model from the special order catalogue. or you can try this url... jin-shi.com/spec_orders.htm

Sort of funny I just got my new sword, and now immediately planning my next. hahahah ;D Though I do have a serious limit to funds, and what I want. I don't need 10 katana 7 jian, and 12 dao. I am happy with my new sword, and now just want to pick up a couple more. A jian and dao. Each has a completely different purpose and function. Or at least I will keep telling myself that so I don't talk myself out of the next two.

Can't wait for mine it is so uniquely specced that it will be a one of a kind ;D Amazing though how we had identical thoughts concerning a new Jian from Garrett after seeing this Tang, and the twistcore option. Maybe it won't be unique for long Just kidding, if I decide sometime (WAY) in the future to get another sword made I'll come up with something different. Actually have something in mind, but don't want to reveal it lest someone scoop it up before me ;D

I was more talking about things like length and weight and a few other things. I don't think anyone else out there requires or even likes a sword as light as I need it to be.
