Are you sure that the circle belt will work for both? In the description it says it works for broadswords, rapiers, and short swords. It looks like the tip of a longword my drag along the ground.

that's about what I was guessing. nothing wrong with that as far as I'm concerned. you know, we should either start 6 different new threads based on the contents of this thread and then lock this one up or else rename this thread "Current events and MISC. discussions" I don't think I've seen a thread here go QUITE this far afield before. Yep, this thread has been seriously derailed!!!! Now did the original guy get the replacement sword yet? ..............SanMarc.

Jon, you could try the Inner Bailey (that's the name, www in front, dot com behind); I needed a belt and suspension rig for my wedding- they make all of their goods in-house, the prices are very decent and the customer service is top notch. Susan's a pleasure to work with- she handles the orders while her partner fulfills them; great team there. I'd bought the swordbelt of the Circle; that'd work for both swords you're getting- great choices, by the way, you will not be sorry! Looks like Ebon and I have gone to a lot of the same places for our leather... first Clint Robinson, now the Inner Bailey as well. I got a belt a sword frog from them awhile ago... great quality product and AWESOME people to work with. They are more then willing to make alterations on the stuff you see for your specs, they did so for me. Good stuff there.

LOL
I'll say...
Jon, I don't think it will...I have the Windlass Crecy War Sword and at 47" in-scabbard it still didn't drag the ground; the Circle actually facilitates this by acting as a fulcrum for your sword so it balances itself out. If you notice the tip dragging, change the positioning of the frog straps and voila, you've just improved your carrying stance!
Unless you're really, really short. How tall are you?

I am 5'11, so I doubt that it will be a problem. I will probably just get the frog instead of the belt.

I got the sword frog of the circle, cuz I have several belts and several swords, and I wanted to be interchangable. Its a well made product, but it DOES put all the swords weight one your one hip, which is kinda annoying. Some of the swordbelts I have seen go around you twice and distribute the weight of the sword better, that looks like a very comfortable way to carry a sword. And... there are also baldrics.

I don't really want a baldric.
