Ya know I still don't miss TV As far as flatulence and cleavage.... flatulence is safer for a married man ;D You gotta admit that is just funny. Ah Mel Brooks... A true master of subtlety

Incidentally, I was suprised Clements wasn't in on this one. The smack talk and skill showing seems right up his alley. This....this is absolutely hilarious. OMFG...I am going to bust my spleen laughing here... My study group leader sparred him last year, and Clements literally threw his sword 30 feet behind him while doing a vom tag when the grip slipped through his gauntlets, something that I am sure you will never see on his videos...

This is why video cameras in the hands of third parties should be mandatory. Dear God. Can you think of the blackmail ...much less the potential for hilarity here.

Knight vs. Pirate(spoken in David Wendham's 300 voice): The heavily armored knight was no match for the broadside he recieved from the pirate's Man of War. Sadly he lost the advantage when his horse refused to row the dinghy for a better position to use his lance against the ship.I am expecting something like this Tuesday.

They have the opportunity to settle one of the biggest sword related questions, but Noooooo!!!
Instead of Ninjas vs Pirates it will be Ninjas vs Spartans! What a waste of air time.

John Clements, leading member of ARMA, writer of some pretty decent books, but some people aren't horribly fond of his attitude from what I've read and heard. Actually spends a couple of appendices in his book Medieval Swordsmanship criticising the sparring rules and practices of certain unnamed reenactment groups. I mean, I get that he's serious about historical accuracy and realism, which I agree with, but he does take it a little too far at times. Don't know any other reasons why people don't seem to like him though.
Edit: ninja'd, *sigh*

aww c'mon guys let's not turn this into a Clements bashing thread! With all the negative feedback on his books and whatnot it makes mocking the guy equivalent to kicking a puppy. Play nice, team
