So I just wanted to share
I reached out to albion the other day to check on the status of a Ringeck that I ordered back in August 2022...and was informed that they are currently working on finishing Dec 2021 orders. So if you are looking at buying, expect a nice long lead time

Good to know. I just contacted them about ordering a Regent, have not heard back yet.

Told me the same thing last week. My Sword was ordered in January 2, 2022. Hopefully will get it in the next month or so.
I had a Kingmaker made in 2014. Ordered it in January 2014 and received it at the end of March of 2014. 2 1/2 months.
Those were the days.

My early Nov 2021 Ringeck and Landgraf were completed and available for pick-up in late June. Latest order gave the "18+ month" estimate 2 weeks ago, so I am expecting 18-20.

Have you contacted Mike recently? They should be well past the September 2021 orders by now (unless there is something about that sword that makes it extra difficult).

No, I ordered through KOA. I have received two Albions from them. Maybe the grip has to be done by a specific artist, and they have been unavailable. I could speculate all day, but I will update everyone here when I receive the order.

Since it is a unique configuration, Mike still might be able to let you know where it is in the production queue. He has been extremely helpful with my questions and that has resulted in more and more orders from me.

Sounds like better than a year and a half lead time? WOW!

well, longer than a year and a half anyway
10-12 months would be better than a year and a half, but not realistic for Albions for the next 2 years while they catch up with the order surge

Ordered a sword at the beginning of January 2022 and still no word. Last I communicated with Albion in August they said they were finishing up December 2021 and getting ready to move into January 22.

Ordered an Earl in Nov 2021 received it in July 2023 That's the exact same time frame I experienced with my Archduke purchase from Albion. It helps to underscore that they are working through their orders in a fair and chronological order. This kind of back order (i.e. market demand) is absolutely a fair justification for their announced price increases, and this company that we all seem to respect and love has maintained static pricing for many years, despite increases in material costs, labor, and a global pandemic interrupting their production schedule. All things considered, I'm not in the least bit upset by the wait times or impending price increases from Albion. I have made quite a few purchases directly from them for years, and I have never received a product from them I was unhappy with. I have immense respect and goodwill towards Albion Swords Limited, and I hope to continue to see them prosper for decades to come.

soloknight-- You said you ordered an Albion from KOA and you are waiting a while for it? I don't understand, I have ordered a good number of swords, daggers etc. from KoA and they are in stock, or they aren't. I don't remember seeing approx. wait times on Albions. Did it say out of stock when you ordered?

squire80 - although KoA does on occasion have Albions in stock, they always offer the option to pre-order Albions with a 25% deposit or paid in full. The same is true for Valiant. With Arms & Armor and Vision, you can pre-order when paid in full only.

Got it, I stand corrected. I have never owned an Albion, the most I have paid for swords is in the $600 range. Some with small issues, some very good and one or two that were outstanding --What a hobby, there is something out there for everybody --

I asked on October 9th 2023 and was told they were working on January 2022. I am waiting on a Hersir. I spoke too soon. Just received an email today on a fedex delivery from Albion on the sword. So I should receive in the next few days give or take. That is good news. I have another one I ordered in March of 22 so I am going to say I will not get that one until early next year.
