Is the wait time the same for all of Albion’s product lines? I asked Mike about the wait times for their training swords at last Combat Con. He said the wait time for them was around 1 year, and he was hoping to get it down to 6 months. What about squire line swords?

I didn't ask, sorry.

A good thing most people are overlooking. They had their supply to demand ratio down pre 2020. As we mentioned, 2020 brought in an influx of orders, which by every economic model ever made, should have driven them to raise their prices until demand met supply.
They did not. Even with the recent inflation price-hike, this is nothing compared to what traditionally is done in businesses when demand is this high.
So yeah... More brownie points to Albion. I sound like a fanboy, and maybe I am, but I think a two year wait time for a few more years is worth not doubling their prices.

I just wish they would be a little more realistic about their quote times. Orders in 2022 that were quoted 12 months are taking about 24 months. As a customer I would much rather be quoted a little longer than expected than the opposite.

Not to derail the thread, but considering Albion's 20+ month backlog, and not being certain of exactly when they rolled out some of their newer models back in 2022....are there ANY of the Sankt Annen swords out in the wild yet, in the hands of any customers?

There was one at SoCal Swordfight on display. It belonged to somebody who placed an order, and that person allowed Albion to showcase it at the event before sending it to them.

I ordered one last year, I'm guessing it will arrive sometime around Fall 2025.

A can confirm I have a Sankt Annen on its way to me now. I was one of the original pre-orders of this sword, and so they are now starting to get them out.

I ordered the Wallace instead as it was actually cheaper at the time. Fills the niche for a broad, thing cutting arming sword. The Vigil is a lovely sword!

I’m looking at the Wallace now and it looks gorgeous. I like arming swords with acute tips which it looks like the Wallace does have same for the vigil.
