posting good pictures is very helpful, especially one with a hand written sign with forum user name and the posting date (to show proof of ownership)
check the feedback forum - there are a number of people here with many transactions and a good history (and I've bought from several of them)

To help you get a better idea of how much the website will be worth, find listings similar to it to get a realistic expectation of its value. Also, consider talking to a website broker, as they are experienced in the field. To assist you with finding out about how much the site will be worth, find postings like it to get a sensible assumption for its worth. Likewise, consider conversing with a site specialist, as they are knowledgeable about the field. 192.168.100.1 192.168.1.1

It's also good form to thoroughly document and photograph any known wear or defects. Offering custom photos of areas of concern goes a long way too.
I had a great buying experience here for a sword with some known dings in the saya. The seller was upfront about it, showed me photos, and I got exactly what I was expecting to at that point, so we were both happy.
In short, document thoroughly (including photos), communicate constantly, and be upfront and honest.

Keeping all of the above in mind, and don’t forget to update your ad when sold, you might read through some of the posts to get a feel for things.

Just one more thing to add. When I look to do business with anyone here, not only do I check for feedback, I also check their length of time here and if they have contributed to the conversations. That doesn't just mean a post count but actually checked to see if they appeared serious in the discussions. This is not always the case though. There was a time several years ago where I and others here found a women on Ebay who had lost her husband and was looking to sell his swords. In order for her to focus her selling and save Ebay fees we suggested she come here to sell. She followed the helpful suggestions on how to post those swords and ended selling the vast majority relatively quickly and without issues.
Be Honest, Answer Questions, Price Accordingly, Be Upfront Regarding Shipping (How Much and Where You are willing to ship to) and How you accept payment. When determining how you accept payment, try to use a system that offers protection to the buyer, this can be the deciding factor in whether someone is willing to do business with someone they've never dealt with before. You'll do fine!
Welcome to the Forum and don't hesitate to ask questions (except pricing) We can tell you what it is but we can't give you a price quote (it's in the rules.
