 So this came today. Didn't get to choose the design, but it's probably my second or third choice among the available options, so I won't complain.  I'm impressed by how much came with it. Sadly, today's weather sucked so I didn't get to go outside and try it out. Perhaps tomorrow... |

Some of the states had legalized it for recreational use. The state I am in only a few years ago legalized the medical use and they have more strict rules on its prescriptions than opioids. Have you ever seen a movie called Reefer Madness? It is an old film that is hilariously false in its claims to the psychological effects of marijuana use. Though it was meant to be serious. Those who know the truth and do not deny it find it funny. 😹 Speaking of reefer madness, I wonder if random caught it? Shall we expect him to return as a rastafarian who listens to snoop dog? Telling us we are all but waves in an ocean? Or it could be Bob Marley he listens to. The best Reggae musician and singer ever. He was rastafarian until his death which was a sad day for the music industry. |

Oh man. I didn’t even know norml still existed. It was kind of a big deal in the late seventies when I started college. Well at least with the pot crowd. At least that’s what some friends told me. Well, that tasted like hot plastic. I blame the "hose" being, well, plastic.
I also lost the plug that takes the place of the hose when the thing is not in use. Oh well, $5 was worth it for a different experience.
I think I'm gonna pick up the brass micro hookah I linked before, maybe one or two things from the same place, and see what shipping costs look like.

 So the Hydro Herbal tobacco-free, nicotine-free shisha I bought a small pack of wasn't getting along with the pocket hookah. Figured I'd give it a shot on a better hookah. Turns out it's just not good. 50g for $3, so it was worth a shot, but I'll be trying other brands next time. Supposed to be a blue raspberry flavor. It kinda smells it, a bit, when burning...but hardly any taste to it at all aside from just kinda rancid. Oh well, live and learn. |

I have this black and gold one I bought from a store my sister used to work at and in the 10 years I had it, I've used it like maybe 4 or 5 times.  My sister loves smoking shisha though! She's lived in Turkey (Fun Fact: The Turkish word for hookah is nargile) for several years now and when I went to visit her and her husband we would be up to 3 o'clock in the morning smoking shisha and drinking tea at her favorite café. Heck, they love her so much they let her break their 'no pets' rule. Easily my favorite city I've been to! |

That's a nice-looking little hookah. I'd love to travel that part of the world someday, but it's not in the cards anytime soon.  Forgot to mention I ordered two more "portable" hookahs, hoping at least one shows up before an upcoming trip. One I liked a lot better, but was more expensive, and was only available from EU or UK sellers, so shipping was even higher and it may not get here before we leave. I bought the other, just in case, as it was cheaper, and a domestic seller. There are others I want to compare, but I've already blown my budget with these two. I might cover them more when they get in. |

Yea blueberry - plant-is similar, smells like it but the flavour isn't too strong. It's so disappointing when you are all hyped up for it. I wonder what they use in tabacco free? I wonder if it's worst than tabacco? |

Hydro Herbal just says "organic herbs and flavorings" so who knows? This one tasted unpleasant, so there's that. I've heard of people smoking tea leaves. Sounded hilarious to me at the time, but I suppose it's not like there was ever a rule that we could only smoke two plants. Apparently green tea has a nice flavour, and smoking hops (I think) was supposed to have a - plant- like effect, followed by a wicked head ache Of course don't take my word on it, I never really had a need to smoke anything other than what I smoke |
