We may or may not try it out this weekend. In the meantime, I found a cheap ($5, guaranteed to be crap) "pocket hookah" that I couldn't resist picking up, just to see how terrible it is. Added a pack of tiny coals for 99¢ plus a 50g pack of tobacco-free, nicotine-free herbal shisha. Hydro Herbal's blue raspberry. I'll be trying these by myself when they arrive. Everything else is technically hers (courtesy of me, granted) so I don't feel right using it without her. I also don't feel like pulling out everything just for myself.  |

I know that California beach bums (surfers), skaters, punkers and such others are stereotyped as potheads here based on what I witnessed. |

So I stopped after only a month. I honestly really hate taking the drugs that I have to take now. I had a few drug and alcohol addicts amongst my relatives on both sides. Ugh. |

It's the sole reason I'm able to quit drinking, potentially. |

You can have up to an ounce on your person, and you can give or receive the same as a "gift," but not associated with a financial transaction. (eg buy a pack of lighters and get an ounce "free" An individual may cultivate up to four plants, but they must be hidden from plain sight and tagged with the individual's name, drivers license number, and a statement that the plants are for "personal use" or some such. It's ridiculous, but it seems like more is set to come in a few years. We'll see. She has expressed interest in growing plants, because she's a gardener at heart, but until we're out of my mother's house I don't see it happening. Meanwhile, the pocket hookah I ordered should be here Wednesday. I'm cautiously curious still. |

I've thought about it though I don't know if there's any difference in prep etc but you can get hookah pretty cheap. I'm still waiting on my $5 "pocket hookah" I ordered last week, but I've seen several under $20. You can get whole starter kits for $40 or less in some places, but they do climb pretty rapidly from there. Granted, the most expensive I've come across was still under $500. |
