Another thing I need to find next year is another customized H/T longsword. I traded mine a while back and I miss it so so much.

Sword-wise, definitely one of VA's new in-house Irish Ring Longswords. Other than that, maybe a new shorter katana or a wakizashi. Really only the VA longsword is on my 'must-buy' list at the moment.
Otherwise, really want to try out Torii USA's tonfa, their hardwood selections look fantastic. Maybe track down a functional kusari-gama or an antique.

What kind of rifle are you thinking about? Probably a local M4 clone here in the Philippines once the current ban on 5.56 ammo is lifted. Ah yes, the M4. Always a good choice. Lots of choices for customization and a reliable platform.

The Colt 6920 M4 platform, all milspec is very sound pick. A few weeks ago I got a Colt Trooper with a centurian forend (valued at over $200) for $799. Very good times for buying semiauto "sporting" rifles. And to think, a few year ago, after Newtown, Bushmaster were going for 3 grand. Barak Obama was the greatest firearms salesman of all time...HAHAHAHA.

Something from Valiant Armory would be really nice. I lent a good deal of money to a family member and while I can afford to buy one right now I think it would be wiser to wait until I replenish my bank account. Just to be on the safe side.

Definitely some more antiques from the islamic world. I am not much of an antique guy but something about the arab style makes them so appealing.
Also, finally a katana I guess.
And also my Swiss Saber once it actually gets put together by the smith ._.

ill be buying text books, and maybe 1 cheaper sword Munich?! Ahem, I mean... I'll hopefully have a Valiant Armoury Craftsman line sword shortly after my birthday. I have faith in Sonny, but still feel the need to cross my fingers. Unless a real deal shows up though, it might be one of my only swords in 2018. I remember when you said that your atrim will be your last sword at the beggining of this year...then bought like 6 more haha

Three more, then traded for a couple, yeah. and you are surprised why? This is the nature of the dark side. Haha. Fal now knows this. I am just trying to keep myself distracted by working on a blade polishing and mounting project to keep from buying. It is not really working as I have at least one deal in the works. 😳🤪😂

I told myself that I would buy one sword before Christmas, ONE. I'm now up to three, the last one still in transit. I even excused myself while going through the buying process that it wasn't for me, no, t'was for my wife... Dark side indeed. o7

Maybe a good argument to allow polygamy, imagine all the wives that need swords, I mean the 15 swords aren't for you, they are for your 15 wives, everyone understands that.

Just consider the idea of 15 wives all armed with swords for a minute. Your plan may be flawed.
