A decently made and economically priced sgian dubh www.ebay.com/itm/273452753416?I had recently purchased a couple of his knives and aside from needing a bit of sharpening, his overall grinds are a thick convex and hard enough. His big typically confederate book inspired bowies are going for less than a couple of hundred. Nathan Taylor of taylorknives has been around for awhile and his work pretty steady, albeit not high art quality custom but working knives.

Don't that sword is definitely not worth the $300+ they're asking. Like most EBay vendors, they think something that's been discontinued automatically is worth triple asking price.... No if you really want the Robin Hood sword from that movie, they still sell it as the Sword of Tancred. Benefits of the Tancred? 1)Grip doesn't have those ugly and uncomfortable fake turquoise gems and has a decent leather wrap. 2) It comes with a scabbard with belt. 3) Its under $300 for pretty much a better looking and more comfortable version of the movie sword. kultofathena.com/product.asp?item=501423Yea most of these people selling the Robin Hood Sword or swords out of the box brand new like this probably bought them out when MRL had them cheaply discounted on their Last Chance and DoD 5 years or so ago. I mean for the longest time those Robin Hood swords sat on the LC page for less than a $100 and it took years for them to finally sell out.

no worries. wasn't all that certain I was going to get it. I did message the seller to see if the scabbard was included, but I doubt that it is from what I could read on the box. Tancred does look nice too, including scabbard. reliks has one for about 340, which save on the exchange rate. I might consider that. wasn't aware it was sitting on a shelf somewhere for so long, before being sold

Of course, I'd prefer one with a connection to "Robin Hood, Men In Tights", but ya can't have everything....

TRIED to watch Camelot, but couldn't
