Perhaps, but they at least have slightly beefier stats on their blade. You do have a good point about the other Euro makers. However, they do cost more, so its a trade-off I suppose. Its not a bad deal for what they are, just personally, its not a trade-off I would make

I got the Swedish sword today. No photos or reviews yet, will take a day or two to review. It's a great buy for the money so far, it does have minor annoyances I will go over in detail but nothing serious. I don't think you'll find a better complex hilt broadsword at this price point.

I imagine it was a squire line Vinland for that cheap price. Didn't even see it went fast

Have some Kaneie katana's on closeout at SBG for $300. I don't do Katana's, so I dunno if thats good or bad. Just figured I would throw this out there anyways

Quite heavy but has aggressive distal taper. Would probably make for another fearsome mat cutter.

Yes, a bit heavy. It's hard to guess how it handles, but distal taper looks good for a warsword intended for striking mail armoured opponents and PoB is very close. Interesting sword anyway, I would like to see a review. :)

The Windlass 1906 saber is on closeout at Atlanta Cutlery - $200 vs normal price of $250. Add the SBGWEB code for 10% off Review here. Comes highly recommended by the Kelly, so should be good. The steel guard also looks a lot nicer than the brass IMO

I would tend to agree with that, though sometimes a second hand Windlass or other mainstream "normal" sword comes by which is worth it. I got the Universal Swords Princess of Wales sword second hand from them, and was quite pleased by it
The fact you save the sharpening on some of them might also make it worth it

I guess the market supports what they sell for but I personally think some of the used better swords KOA sells are too much. Maybe for a mint condition it is cool but it seems if the sword comes from certain makers, it automatically will have a high price. I always look at what a new higher end production sword costs and pass on the certain makers used ones that are higher priced.

Maybe for a mint condition it is cool but it seems if the sword comes from certain makers, it automatically will have a high price. I always look at what a new higher end production sword costs and pass on the certain makers used ones that are higher priced. It seems that before when they first started offering pre-owned sword the prices were lower on them and now that it's kinda taken off that the prices have jumped up a bit. It also appears that they're making a used price based on the retail price and doing around 30%-40% off. I'd like to know what the seller gets when he either sells or trade ins the pre-owned swords. That might explain why some are priced high even for slightly damaged sword or less than worthy prices. For example if someone is using a Windlass for a trade on a DSA or Hanwei, KoA might give them $200 trade in value against the other sword. So KoA prices the pre-owned to maximize profit on both the trade and the sale of the pre-owned which is why we get fluctuating prices on certain sword of the same make. Almost like they gave the seller a little extra for trade in so they add a little extra to the pre-owned's price.

I like that House of Steel cutlass except the serrations. I did actually find their website house-of-steel.com/sword%20gallery.htm and they have example of some of the swords they made and they look decent actually. There is no price sheet though unfortunately. I may need to contact them in the future.
