There was a used DT6163 listed on KOA last night, but it was gone this morning. I was interested but the description said the blade was a little wonky, i don't recall the exact detail.

Netflix just put it on this month. I'm sure you have your own copy but just letting you and others who might want to watch it, it's there.

it sure is a cool movie; i like Johnny Depp passing out everytime, that little neat Christina Ricci package and Ray Parks sword&axe skills as the HEADLESS horseman...WITH head, Christopher Walken is creepy as usual...xD

Same feeling here, I saw it and I really like complex hilt longswords but $1200? No thanks not used and not even with Tinker name. I'm sure it is worth it but too much for me.

Congrats. I was very sorely tempted - it looks well made with reasonable taper. I considered getting both that and the F1 together for a matching pair :P

I kinda bought it on impulse...if I'm not sure about it when it come I'll give you first crack at it. I'm going to see if Ryan will sharpen it too.

Nah - I would only have gotten it if I could have gotten combo shipping with the F1. I have the Universal Princess of Wales sword, which fills a similar niche for me.
There is a review of the non blued version somewhere on the forums. Apparently its better than the 1796 repros, but not as good as the original. In my mind, its as close as you can get to an original 1796-style sword without having to take out a mortgage.

It's a $161.00 difference when compared to a new Knecht. A bit more perhaps since shipping is usually cheaper from KoA when compared to Albion. The scabbards look like half-assed throw aways to me, so nothing to really enhance the sale. If the sword's in good shape it's a decent discount.
