Yeh... even tho the trigger pull on my P250 is very smooth... its still long and more annoying then the SA trigger on my 226 or striker fired trigger on my glock 19. What I really don't like about the 250's tho is seeing the hammer move as I pull the trigger... its distracting. My eyes really want to track the movement and move from my sights, which is annoying. This is why I love Striker fired or SA trigger action most.

You could make the change to the new P320 once it's available. Essentially just a striker-fired P250, though with a more Glock-like trigger from what I've seen reported (I wasn't at SHOT show (I wish) so I can't confirm, appears to be true from pics and video footage I've seen).

Saw that... available in 9mm, .40, and .357sig.... no .45 yet and no .380 (like I care). Also avalible in full size and compact, no sub compact as of yet. Still... they look like an improvement overall to the design. Kinda pissed... its likely that the 320 line will replace the 250's... so my 250's are left drifting in the wind. Also... the new 556xi line of rifles they have... WAY cool... and replaces my 556R... again, replaced with a new cooler product and left drifting in the wind. *&^%ing Sig.

feels like there's a competition between glock and sig on getting out as many new lines as possible...I can't say I'm impressed. Figured they're going to get recalled a few months down the line for a simple 'fix'. (early gen4 springs, the springfield xds)
the new sig 556xi is awefully ugly sean  it's not going to replace anything. I need to budget myself for a socomII or m1a scout...just because...it speaks to me.

Always could trade her up. Why would you consider a 556 series over the SCARs? (just curious)

Would LOVE a SCAR in .308... but they cost a LOT of money... near 3k I think. Got my 556R for 1k.

Yikes is right... If money was not an Object... the SCAR and HK rifles would be top of my list for a good battle rifle.

I go a bit old school in a .308. My time in the service was spent with the M14, but I've always preferred the FAL. The 556 is fine for a fun gun at the range, but the build quality is lacking for a hard service carbine. I've seen more than a few poop the bed in training. The only down sides to the SCAR are the reciprocating charging handle and the weak stock hinge. Other than those issues it's a damned fine piece of gear.

SWEET JESUS THAT'S A BEAUTIFUL FAL!!!
I've always had a weakness for FALs with wood stocks and no bipod cuts. That's the nicest set I've ever seen pics of.

Thanks! It's a European walnut set I purchased from DSA, soon after buying the rifle about twelve years ago. I had to finish the wood myself, but the major fitting was already done. It's taken on a nice color over the years. Another angle. I really need to take better photos of this one.

Right rear pants pocket. Kahr CM9 9mm, with the corners ground off and the butt thinned a bit, the outside rear corners heavily ground off. In a homemade kydex rig, it looks exactly like a wallet in my pocket. Spare mag is in left front pants pocket carrier, also Kydex. Small bills and change is in right front pocket. Folding knife and BIC in left rear pocket, in a kydex rig I made to keep them upright. Phone in an armband or pouch or on a belt clip, keys in a retractable belt clip set up . Pen and pad in shirt pocket. ID, big bill, bank cards, etc, in a belly band setup, where no pickpocket can reach and where they dont just fall out, like happens with a pocket, way too often.

More often than not I carry a Ruger LCR in my right front pocket. I also use an open top leather belt holster under a jacket.

Locked breech 380's can safely be loaded up to be provably more effective on animals than .45 ball, no problem at all, even if the .45 is from a 5" barrel.

i carry a small auto in a front pocket holster mostly. i used to carry this set up with a Smith 640 when i was a housing patrolman. as a PI i used to carry the same because discretion was really important.

there's several ways to carry an 8 oz Keltec P32 and survive a pretty thorough body search, by trained officers, actually. The locked breech lets you safely hotload the 60 gr Silvertip jhp up over 1200 fps, for over 200 ft lbs of power, getting reliable expansion of the jhp in flesh and also getting adequate penetration.

Adding to a topical and existing thread is no crime.
Imho, twenty threads about the same topic is more egregious.

Necromancy is a crime in some countries. fair enough, I have a bad habit of not looking at the date before I post. Whats the rule or general rule of thumb on necro posting? Some forums its a year others its a month and others dont really care? I was joking. I honestly don't mind. There is a longstanding trend of newer members raising dead threads. Membership has had a lot of turnover over the years. You might want to keep that in mind if you are expecting to engage someone specifically in an older thread. They might not be able to respond to you.
