Yeah definately the hidden blade, the only downside is the amputation of your finger, but who cares when you can get a shiny metal pointy stabby one!

Given that they were functional, and I could effectively use them, there are a few swords I wouldn't mind in my collection.... Altair's Hidden Blade would be nice.... I won't bother with a pic for it, since its HIDDEN... LOL ;D Auron's Sword from FFX  Sol Badguy's Sword from Guilty Gear  (yes, I know its not really a 'sword') Soul Reaver from the Legacy of Kane series  BUT MOST OF ALL!!!!!!!!! Raven Armory's Stormbringer for me . Elric has been my favorite from when i first learned to read. 5 years is plenty of time to make payments. over 7 lbs ... and i thought my DSA Ranger is heavy

maybe they were ceremonial...............i would like ummmm a zanbato sword like Sagara Sanosuke's one in Rurouni Kenshin.....however be able to lift and use it too!!!!!! tho actually a light saber would be cooler.........
