What fantasy sword would you want the most? Done as a replica in carbon steel, fully functional. Could be from anywhere, Movies, TV-Games, Comic Books, etc. Post a picture of it (if you have one or can find one) and share with rest of us! I guess i'll start: It would be Hiro's sword from Heroes, though that's already been made, so then it'll probably be the "Sword of Aeons" from the Xbox game Fable. I couldnt find a good picture of it, sry. I'll play through the game and try and get a pic up in a few days... P.S lightsabers and other energy weapons don't count Let's see some nice fantasy swords guys! ;D

The Sword of Aeons, Nice! Let me think...... Ahh! The Dark Dragon Blade from Ninja Gaiden! It's black, in a flame shape, and really big. Can't seem to find a pic though.

This isn't even a close call for me and it already exists, I just need to borrow a few grand from one of you gentlemen.

I'd love to buy the Drizzt swords, and Hiro's sword of course. I'll probably grab Hiro's sword after xmas, hopefully it's still around!

I can't think of a sword, but there are plenty of other fantasy weapons I'd like, if you care to broaden the question a bit.

I'd certainly like to find the discontinued Gen 2 halfling sword. That said, of swords which are currently available, I like this Darksword Armory Medieval Elf Sword. Not an exact replica from the movie, but as the description on their website says "The smooth handle and pommel are influenced by the aesthetic patterns and artistic designs of the Elvish people, as described in the Lord of the Rings trilogy, and reflects the Elvish passion for simplicity, elegance and purity." www.darksword-armory.com/1305.html

Only as a substitute for my true number 1; which is as such unmade in reality. That would be a "true to the original aesthetics" replica He Man's Power Sword from the 80s Masters of the Universe. I will one day have a crack at designing one. Never seen one but, only the plastic toy one. I'll have a crack at it one day, watch this space.

Stormbringer.. The rune sword of Elric of Melnibone, but not as the heavy SLO usually depicted in illustrations. I see Stormbringer as a slim cut and thruster..a quick blade that floats like a butterfly and stings like a scorpion.

Raven Armoury used to make a stormbringer check out this thread at SFI forums.swordforum.com/showthread.php?t=13334&highlight=stormbringer

Don't think I could pick just one. Definitely any sword from a painting by Luis Royo (his swords are as beautiful as his women) Any on from a Man-O-War album cover and of course Voltron's Blazing Sword

Aranruth, Sword of Elu Thingol. (from the Silmarillion). Bet it would be cool. Shame there was no description of it in the book. It could look however you wanted it!

I actually would like something similar to Valeria's sword from Conan the Barbarian. The whole two-handed scimitar look just looks cool.
