because of my friends and I being members of a sword class, and the chance we now had to begin doing cutting in class, a lot of my friends got swords , however I found some of the design of the swords I was seeing to be lacking and so that is when I started my own search for more traditional designs.
I decided that it would be best to start of by getting 3 swords that would fulfill my needs for the foreseeable future.
I needed a great sword, something to show up at a competition with that will not be seen as lacking. I searched a long time for the correct sword, and I found that the T-10 folded sword fit my needs the best.
I next needed a sword to learn with, something that will not be a big deal if I accidentally scratched it of dinged it up a bit as I learned to cut.
The final sword I need is a non-sharp sword to use during many sword form drills that do require contact between swords. I have yet to find the sword that i want.
I know I want the look of the sword to be close to the look of my T-10, but I ran into a lot of trouble when I contacted the seller of my T-10 and tried to order one non-sharp. The guy is from China, and try as I might I never got my point across when I tried to place an order.
Thus this last sword has proven to be a trick to find...but i hope in the next few hours to find a seller of swords that offers me a sword that is close to the look of my T-10 without a high price...
I will post what i find later...

Well I am working with Jacky from huawei swords right now with that blue black Musashi type sword you posted about. He (?) is going to put together a Black/Black with white ray skin same, battle wrapped no bohi 9260 TH katana for me. He sent me this pic as an example Maybe you should contact them about one of there T10 blades and ask to have it dulled. They have a few T10 and they are DH so you will get a hamon like you wanted. You could get one of the 9260 swords and dull it yourself (I think). Maybe they already have something that is just not listed.

Cool!!!
if you get it I would love to read how you like it. I did plan on getting that sword next, but I grew very frustrated . The difference between Chinese and English became a wall I could not overcome.
The sword itself is interesting in it's ability to bend and go back to straight. I also have kicked around the idea of the Battle Wrap for about a month now. At first I saw no point to it. But over time I see how getting all my swords with the same handle wrapping is not really very interesting. A battle wrap handle might be a nice addition to my Kill Bill sword rack.

Well I placed the order this morning. I had a few bucks stored up on PayPal from some Air Rifle parts sale and used that so it was a pretty inexpensive buy. I will try to do some sort of review of the blade once I get it. But I do have to say Jacky at huawei-sword is a pleasure to deal with even with the language and time difference barrier. He (?) quickly answered my questions and was willing to assemble a sword to my liking at no extra charge. I just hope everything is a good tight fit.

At the bottom of this page - www.ebay.com/itm/FUNCTIONAL-CLAY ... 3f17222708 you see the listing of all the things you can order to go with the sword. I take it that this huge list of different things to chose from is taken from some other website that has just a HUGE list of different things to pick from? If this is so, does anyone know where to see this bigger listing of things to pick from?

Your going to have to ask Jacky if he has a website aside from Ebay. What I am wondering is if the part numbers from Jacky match the part numbers on Ryan Swords.

For fittings they probably do, as most Chinese forges use the same basic fittings half the time. However the Huawei blades are lightyears ahead of any pictures or videos i've seen of RyanSword.

It would be nice if we could find the manufacturer/distributor of those fittings and order from them. I have seen some fantastic fittings on Ryan's site and Huawei's site and would love to just be able to order those alone.

Sadly, unless you deal in the volume those people do, they fittings cost a bit more. Personally they're not my cuppa, but they're not bad.

Artsfeng has most of those same Chinese fittings available for resale individually.

what im looking for is a seller of swords that can offer me the same choice of extras as I got from the guy who sold me my T-10.
I seek to get a non-sharpened sword with a fake hamon, that has the same fittings that the T-10 has.......all for about $100 bucks or so.
I have totally given up dealing with the guy who sold me my T10 as he clearly does not get the point....
I need a seller of swords that can give me the saya and handle on a non-sharp sword that is a good match for my t-10 at a price I can live with....

Krelian I'll check out Artsfeng again. Kumdoalan, Was that Jacky that you dealt with before? It seems he is a little difficult to communicate with but with patience I could get my point across.

Sorry, but I'm not sure I get what you mean. I don't mean to sound obtuse, but I'm not sure why not naming the agent you were dealing with is important, or why it's not important to your koshirae hunt. I'm not asking for a name, I'm just confused.
I'm also confused as to why they don't understand that you simply want a copy of the sword you bought, just with an iaito blade.
Nevertheless, I wish you well in your continuing search.
