I actually have one of these too. I think it;s a great knife. I sharpened it on a bench sander years ago and then took it out to test it on a bottle. I used a reverse grip in my left hand and it cut cleanly through the bottle. I'm right handed so to cut a bottle with a relatively small blade in my left hand with a reverse grip was pretty impressive IMO.
I'll probably pick up another at this price.

Damn, just missed this one. For $50 bucks I could deal with the cast metal (probably some cheap zinc alloy) hilt if the blade is good. I remember hearing good things a while back.

Apparently there is a whole set... with sword and mace as well as the knife. I'm considering it.

Yeah I saw that. The sword looked neat in the pic of the bracers, but looking at the whole thing on Bruce's site...it looks kind of awkward to me. The grip looks way too long for the blade, and the blade is too wide for its length IMO.
Still, a good price for the whole set considering the knife alone is almost $100.

Yeh... kinda hard to go too wrong at the price. It might just look cool but feel stupid... I talked to Bruce, he is a HUGE fan of the mace.

I wouldn't want to get hit by it, for sure.

I guess they have a bunch of Sleepy Hollow product they need to get rid of but no longer have the license to sell it as Sleepy Hollow merch.

5/5 Viking Coin Paperweight: www.museumreplicas.com/p-726-vik ... eight.aspx Many people don't know that the Viking kept metriculous books. Viking accountants were kept up late at night entering the number of chickens taken, monasteries burned and loot liberated. In order to keep the mounds of paper secured from the wild winds of the Fjords, they used heavy coin paperweights like this one.
