Apparently the original script for the Russel Crowe Robin Hood would've been awesome, centered on the Sheriff of Nottingham instead of Robin. But then mainstream Hollywood got ahold of the script after some issues and were all like, "no we need classic archer Robin Hood like he's been in the past 100 movies made about him." Hence why we got the crap movie we did.

Really? And here I thought the problem was the actors. But if we got those actors because no one else would touch the crap script...

But back to the sword. its the King John and tbh i dont understand why they slapped a king arthur on it. These filmswords seams to be a bit of a gamble, some are good, some are bad. i got em all and this sword is one of the better looking ones, blade seams nice and there is no rattle or stuff falling off it. so i would recomend it for 80bucks but not 160.

willhart beat me to it. I have no idea why I didn't see his comment until after I submitted a comment of my own.
It must have slipped across into the third dimension. Which, if any of you are poking around over there, I'm missing a pack of Kool menthols and like a hundred bucks.

I recall awhile back someone bought it and took it apart... and it was a bit of a disappointment structure -wise. I myself avoid almost all the larger Windlass swords... and this is one of the largest.

I think the person found it had a partial rattail tang.
For this price though, it might be worth getting; cut the pommel off, remove the rattail portion of the tang and reshape it for repeening and then cut the blade shoulders down some to compensate for the handle length before rebuilding it.
Due to its size, I'm willing to bet you could cut the length down by up to 10-12 inches during rebuild and still be able to get a decent project sword out of it. However, the blade might still be whippy...
