I've considered picking that up on more than a few occasions, but even at 150 it's still kind of iffy.

Same here. I had a rough day at work so I took the plunge to make myself feel better. I really gotta stop checking out the Deal of the Day. I buy too many things that I really don't need.

Same here... Like it, but still 'meh' at 150... sure don't need it.

If it's the same one I recall from last summer, it'd be ok at $100, but not $150+. Just dosen't work well, leather seems sticky and weirdly textured.

I was just about to say, if they drop it to 99 or so, I'd probably buy it. I'd be wearing it over a layer or two of cotton or linen anyhow, so sticky wouldn't be an issue.
I'll just wait for the clearance.

The external texture was, almost like it had a thin layer of some sort of gummy stuff they affix fake rhinestones with or some such. And it's got a really weird sheen to it too, it looks very much like [cheap] pleather. MRL usually has ok clothes though, so maybe it was a bum one my friend was too lazy to return.

MRL does make some decent clothes... but I've never been impressed with their leather. Most of the items they make that I like are thick roughspun cotton or wool.

I like the extra emphasis that this is actually a weapon.

Too bad its so sheer... its hard to find good white shirts that are not somewhat translucent.
