hope you've got the room 'cause that price is a steal! The material alone would cost more to buy and make yourself.

Absolutely... been holding off on this since it was the most expensive piece I still needed... but this just made it cheaper than the baldric I just ordered. Thanks for posting these, would have totally missed it otherwise!

I got one the last time it came up on the DOTD, although I haven't smacked anything with it.
Overall appearance is good, it displays well. The grip is semprinis, it cries for a decent wrap with something that isn't slick and plain black. The shaft is hollow, and seems to be substantial enough as long as you don't try to beat a tank into submission with it. For the $45 it is a good deal, and would dispatch a foe, or an old printer, quite handily.

It's likely, in my guess, they have reduced staff for non-essential functions/site areas over the weekend, so it is just left to carry through.

For the discounted price, you can't really go wrong. It is priced as cheap as the Cold Steel mace, and is far more ornate. I wouldn't sweat the hollow handle. It gives me the impression that you would have to beat your way through a concrete wall to bend it up, and it does reduce the weight some what, making the mace a pretty lively piece in hand.
If one was to spend a little time crafting up a decent grip wrap of some type for it, the DOTD mace would really have a lot more visual appeal, afford a more positive purchase in hand, and you would have a personalized weapon of distinction.

I also notice that Friday is more typically a weapon compared to an article of clothing.

Yea I noticed that jhart. Unfortunately it was like two minutes after I posted that in the first place.
I think that's cool how they keep weapons over the weekends which would give people a bigger chance to get the good deals.
Thanks guys John

Yeah. Cold Napalm has one. It is fun to smash bottles with. Very good in the summer hot days because you are going to get wet lol.
Hell yeah! This IS a ''Deal of the Day", with a SBG discount I got it shipped to me house for $53. Well worth the price!
