Since I have 40 acres of land a a area set to throw in I don't worry about hitting any one.
Did you win the girl heart hitting her in the ankle.

I have a pistol grip with adjustable stock, Centermass laser, and surefire light on my 870, along with magpul forend and blackhawk stock shotshell holder with raised checkrest. Don't have a reflex sight on there ATM, but I have a top rail I can put one on. Do I get my Mall Ninja cred now?

A type of weapon that got BANNED in the US? I thought theres no such thing!? But seriously, you can buy a shotgun, but no shaken/shuriken? I am just interested, cus i am glad to have my walking stick still considered legal here in germany. They banned nearly anything that one could use for self-defense.

Talon's in England, there are some states in the US that ban throwing stars, but I live in a free state.
Sean since you haven't got a pistol grip only, no ninja for you, how about tactical operator, door kicker. Or maybe triggers puller, high speed operator.
Have to have a pistol grip only and think you can shoot skeet with it to get mall ninja.
Don't you know I can hit a moving target in the eye at 50ft with my throwing stars.

I remember while watching one of those silly nevertheless interesting "zombie go boom"-vids all my youth ninja phantasms crumbling to dust when i saw that star bouncing right of one of their artificial heads after leaving just a cut.... Aah Hollywood, but i am derailing , sorry!

I think with the weight and size of the Cold Steel stars they would stick. They weight in at 7 oz. and have 2 1/2in long blades, 3/16in thick. These aren't the cheap K Bud stars.

I wouldn't put to past them to eventually require a prescription from your doctor in order to carry cane.
Although we have something here titled the "American Dissabilities Act" which disallows discrimination against the disabled. It shouldn't be difficult to amend it (or to adopt a regulation) which disallows all but the demonstrably disabled from carrying a cane. Cane permits.

Ja, we have the same here. It's not allowed to discriminate people because of their disabilities, their age, sexuality, race, religion and anything else. You don't need a permission to walk with a crane. I have a very nice one, too. When taking a long trip through the deep woods, I like to carry it - unfortunatly my job doesn't allow me long marches anymore (or I've to take some holidays for it). It's forbidden in my country to have a hidden blade covered in a walking stick - bummer! But what I really want to say: Everytime I see this thread popping up, I read "Let's do a Shogun thread" and so I click. Shotguns - hm, okay, have shot a Mosberg ATP8. Nice. I want my Heckler & Koch Gewehr 3 back! Maybe in another life. Now I get back to blades...

When I am not carrying my cane... This is a Remington 870 Police Magnum (12 ga) with a Magpul Buttstock and Forearm replacement. Better than a distending pistol grip IMHO. Feels quite ergonomic while retaining the lines of a traditional SG. My apologies for the grainy photo. It was dark, but I wanted to capture the new furniture after installation. I have no new imagery apart from a YouTube vid where I'm practicing mounting for the first time. Didn't take long to get used to the new stock.

I won't be starting a YouTube channel. :!: I simply wanted to record the transition to the new stock.
I used to have an 870 with a longer barrel (21") and a +3 extender which shifts the weight forward. I may have been compensating for that SG which I have mounted 100s of times in a DSG series I completed a few years back.
I like the Mossberg safety and release position, but don't want to retrain. So, the 870 it is. I don't have to think about it.

I just have the magpul forend, not the butstock, because I bought my 870 express with the pistolgrip and adjustable stock already on. However, that magpul stock looks nice and I've heard only great things about its comfort and ease of use... so if I had it to do over I'd likely go that route. The Forend is awesome, so much better and more tactile then the stock one.
&^%$ that. Pistol grip shotguns without a stock are amazingly stupid to me.

I agree pistol grip only stocks are stupid, but I went throught a stupid period for about 2 weeks and had one on my home defense shotgoun. All my duty shotguns have always had full buttstocks or buttstocks with pistol grips. All my shotgns are on this thread. Have to take that back my double barrel does have a pistol grip stock, but it's just a fun gun. I've fired it one handed like a big pistol with buckshot, just ever have been brave enough to pull both triggers at one time.
Now if you want to get even more stupid how about the guys who have a back scabbard for their pistol grip shotguns. Talk about mall ninja.

On semi automatics I prefer a pistol gripped full buttstock. With the pistol grip I can use them one handed better if I have too. As posted in this thread along time ago we have his and hers Remington 1100, and I have a High Standard model 10 bullpup.

Slap a light on that bad boy ghost.. can't shoot what you can't see. Joking aside... and all mall ninja remarks can take a hike... I put a light on EVER firearms. EVERY firearm. You need to be able to see in any condition what you want to point the muzzle of a gun at.

Having a light on your weapon dosen't make you a mall ninja, I have them on a few of my. It's all the reat of the crap they stick on their weapons.
This mall ninja stuff started out as a joke between Talon and me, he know's waht I'm talking about.

I watch a lot of firearms channels on YouTube... seen a LOT of full on Mall Ninjas. Ridgeway gave me some crap for my streamlight TLR-1 on my Sig p226... but yeh, I try to put a light on everything. Only thing that doesn't have one is my S&W Shield... would ruin the slim profile and defeat the POU.

Haven't found a nice setup/torch clamp for the shotgun I've liked as of yet... I do have one on ^ for SD...just in case I need it. Grew up with the calif mindset so I'd probably try and hightail it (they can have my stuff) and I don't need a light to sneak out. If there were loved ones to protect, I'd say a light is very essential. I'm not fond of using a light (I feel really tunnel visioned and claustrophobic ...and probably 10x as paranoid). Talking about 226's, my mk25 came with night sights...makes me wonder :? With Marc on that one...I can't imagine using a light on a handgun. It just weirds me out...my followup shots feel wrong with the light bouncing...probably just me. I don't think it's mall ninja-ey except with you Sean...I can imagine you're gonna have a sword strapped to the waist somewhere as backup  Attachments:

I have the MK25 Navy edition 226 as well, and it came with Night Sights... but Night sights just let you see the sights, not what your shooting at. In dark conditions I'd be violating a firearm commandment: Be sure of your target and what is beyond it. How can you do that without a light when its to dark to see? FBI stats on gunfights the VAST majority of them take place in poorly lit conditions.
I'd rather have my light bob up and down a bit if it lets me see what I'm shooting at and make sure of my background.
