Mannnnn wheres the Mossberg love? Cheaper gun and better overall finish/function...IMO  XD I still need a Heat shield, i bought the older model from b4 they started coming with the heat shield stock XD Mossberg 500 Persuader 20 Inch Barrel Awesome Smooth Blueing, I HATE HATE HATE matte/pakerized/rough finishes. 8 Shot Capacity 3 1/2 inch chamber i believe...ive never tryed em. No need for them IMO, i like my good ol' 2 3/4 inch Reduced recoil Police Rounds. Aftermarket Universal Front end Pistol Grip Factory Rear Pistol Grip Picitany Rail, Came drilled and tapped from the factory as they all do

Mossberg better than Remington I don't think so, as you can see I have 2 Mossberg tactical pump shotguns and 2 Remington pump tactical shotguns. The Remingtons are way better, alot smoother, better fit, alot tougher, will handle, all steel contruction, abuse better and handle better. Don't get me wrong the Mossbergs are good shotguns but the pros go for the Remington. Go to any tactical shooting competition you will see mostly Remingtons on the line. Almost all police tactical teams will be using Remingtons. How back to our shotguns from the left No 1 Mossberg model 500S8 12ga with Surefire tactical light forearm, 20in barrel blue finish.No2 Plain jane Mossberg 500S6 12ga. all it has it a Tac Star Side Saddle shell carrier, 18in barrel blue finish No3 Remington model 870 police 12ga with Speed Feed stock set, Speed Feed mag extension,18 in barrel, parkized finish, No4 Remington model 870 Police 12ga with Speed Feed stock set, Sure Fire tactical light forearm, Remington mag extension, 18in barrel with rifle sights, parkized finish.

Sam I do love the stand off barrel on your shotgun, wish I could afford one for one of my Remingtons. Makes it a lot easier to shot door locks or hinges.

I would still need a new barrel to use it none of my are threaded, wish they well so I could use different choke tubes. It would make a nasty cut if you jab someone it the face with it.

wow i hate the remmingtons...i have 2 remmingtons and 3 mossbergs, the remmingtons were gifts XD i hate the location of the safety and the action release lever, much more ergaonomic on the mossy IMO. the finish on the mossberg is alot nicer too. And in mine the action is alot more smoothe and less rough, as far as reliability ive never had a malfunction in neither the mossy or the remmington so i guess its all personal preference. if i wanted a trunk gun that i was gonna throw around and not care about id have the remmington, but for a nice tactical shotgun im gonna take care off, mossy all the way
