I have a number of shotguns, but was only able to find this photo of my "match gun", which is a Benelli M1 Super 90 with 21" barrel, XS express sights milled into the rib, and an 8-round magazine.

Whoops. Better late than never, aye? The clamp is made by Nordic Components. www.midwayusa.com/viewProduct/?p ... ber=667570 It's made to go with their own extension, but it fits the Wilson very well. And for anyone wondering about the spike, it's a simple Aluminum "giant tree spike" sold on numerous "punk" supply shops alongside smaller spikes, studs, wristbands, and other cheap and cheesy punk rock bling. Edit: Found it! studsandspikes.com/buy/spike-gia ... ingle.html I was inspired by seeing this, years ago: 1911savestheworld.blogspot.com/2 ... -line.html I had to find a longer shanked bolt, which I fed through the hole in the tip of the Wilson extension (with GREAT difficulty...).

I am a big fan of 12G shotguns. While the 12G I present here can't hold a candle to some of the higher end shotguns shown, I have owned this for 15+ years and have put a tonne of rifled slugs down range. It has always been reliable and accurate; no issues at all. Winchester 1300

^^^^^^^^^^^^^cool vid^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ Well, No cool pics to post, but my buddy used to loan me his Remington 870 with 3 1/2" chamber to deer hunt with. What actually happened was I shot a buck (center mass) with a 7.62x39mm and it ran away pretty far. I got upset, So he told me to use that, and aim for the head instead. Man, first time I test fired it , was like a bomb going off ...18- copper plated (like FMJ)- .32caliber buckshots... Basically like firing an entire "clip" from a high capacity 9mm pistol in effect. Just wondered if anybody else had experience with the 3 1/2" 12 Ga.,and that load??? I was pretty amazed.

I've never used 3 1/2" 00 buck, but I've killed a couple of dozen wild hogs with 12 gauge OO Buck. About half with 2 3/4" magnum and half with 3" magnum. The difference in performance is huge. I can just imagine how well 3 1/2" OO buck would work. It'd have to be like standing 10 feet in front of a Claymore mine. Good stuff!

You live where they allow you to use buckshot to hunt deer? Lucky you! I live in a state that doesn't allow you to use buckshot to take deer. Imagine that not being able to take a buck with buckshot! I mean isn't that what its meant for? Anyway I've shot 3 1/2" sabotted slugs through a Mossberg 850 for deer hunting and yeah its loud and quite forceful when you shoot. I put a copper slug through the upper neck of a 4-pointer from about 50 yds some years ago and frankly it does quite the damage. The slug entered leaving a small (.46cal I would guess) hole and exited the neck with an opening the size of my hand. The buck didn't even know what had happened - it just crumpled to the ground. The other hunters in our party told me it was probably dead before it hit the ground. The slug blew out the some bone from the base of the skull and just destroyed the spinal column there.
Anyway yeah 3 1/2" super mag rounds are loud and pack quite the punch.

Are firearms still legal at all in Australia? I had heard some talk about a firearms ban there. Hey, saito, if you hate those remingtons that much, I'd be happy to rid you of them. Just ship em' on down.

There's one shotgun load I read about in an "Improvised" type book: It stated that a tiny hole could be drilled through each buckshot and piano wire/music wire (actually spring-steel itself) Could be threaded through each connecting them all. I suppose a full cup wad would be needed to prevent scratching the barrel. And "Bolo's" are illegal in most states so IDK. Perhaps I'll ask www.theboxotruth.com/To test it out. out of time for now.

^^^^^^^^^^^^^^That's a nice looking shotgun!^^^^^^^^^^^^ I know two guys who use single shot shotguns for whitetail Deer hunting (very successfully). One uses a break open 20 Ga. with slugs. He purposely NEVER cleans it, which is odd. The other uses a H&R 12 Ga. with slugs, and we joke that it's a $150 shotgun with a $700 scope and mount for it. Makes sense I guess not to tote the extra weight of the mag., and bulk , etc. If one is planning on one shot kills anyway. Cool shotgun, Not familiar with it, Is it similar to a Sharp's block (it looks like)?

thanks derek,i like it its a martini action, simmilar to a falling block, except the martini action pivots at the back and the front dips down to let you load the cartridge heres some info on the action www.qq22.net/oes_shot/pages/greener.html

To expound a little on this sweet little Greener, it's based on a Martini-Henry action from the famous British service rifle of the 19th century. Hellaciously stong actions for the time period in which they were built. Arguably the finest service rifle of its day. Think "Zulu Wars" period. The Battle of Isandlwana and the subsequent action at Rorke's Drift for context.

Took this photo recently for another forum. Two of my three Remington 870s... IMHO the best pump shotgun design of all time. Top is a 2007-9ish vintage Police Magnum. Bottom is an early 1970s vintage Wingmaster Deluxe with wood stocks added from an Express model. The original high-gloss wood is in a drawer being all safe from scratches. The bottom one was given to me brand new in 1974 for my 12th birthday.
