I seriously have the worst timing in the world. Just ordered the H/T Viking on Friday, and subsequently spent the rest of my spending money on new backpacking gear. Lol.
Man did I miss out.

Don't feel bad my brother... quality over quantity in a collection will likely not make you regretful. I stepped a bit 'upmarket' myself and I see these awesome deals come all the time... I get a bit wistful that I can't take advantage... ...then I Hold one of my Atrims, Albions, Odins, Fables, A&A's or the like... and I don't feel bad at all.

Aye, I've ended up getting rid of, or trying to get rid of my lower end items that never really took a shine to me. Only ones that did were the windlass scimitar, and the Tinker Longsword and Bastard. Too bad I traded away the longsword for the bastard.

True true what Sean said, BUT there is a lot to be said for the handling of the H/T longsword. Don't feel bad about pining for one JP.
My focus has shifted up a few rungs on the cost ladder, but I still couldn't help but grab a couple from Stromlo for project blades. They're just plain hard to beat. Cost wise that is........

I agree Sean. the Castile was going to be my lower end start to my Euro collection and then on to a build my own Atrim but the sale came after I purchased the Castile but before I actually received it. this 2 week period is a very vulnerable time for me I think, lol unfortunately for my bank account, these will not stop me from going on with my original plan. I will have a custom Atrim, Fable blade and many more in the near future! oh boy :?

These deals really are a great opportunity for people to get low cost swords that move and handle well. I for one am happy to see them selling low because that just means that more people are going to understand just how awesome a sword can be when made right. that in turn will get them wondering how much better it can get which will get them looking at the next step up the ladder.
remember folks dealing with sword addiction is all about the enabling.

Hehehehe... If someone is DIY inclined... the Tinker line of swords offer hands down the best value in the market period for such projects, that's for sure. The Longsword does handle very well... I had one... and I am tempted by this sale to get one again. I'm trying to fight it. Must... resist... think I'll go play with my Albion Regent.

Dont take me wrong, I get your point fully.
Point........ that was almost a sword joke
I got a wierd bug lodged at the moment inciting me to tear apart perfectly fine functional swords. I will probably receive the cure when Tom gets some inventory.

Hmmm...I too am starting to look more toward the higher end of the spectrum, but I don't actually have any Euros and the H/T deal might let me find out what the fuss is all about for not a lot of money. At least I have a few weeks to think about it.

I checked them when I made this post- looks like they took a couple of extra days to get their site set up with the sale.
I'll adjust the title and OP. Cheers. This KOA sale seems to be the same low prices from the last big one. $30 less for the EMSHS than I paid for it and I got a great deal at my sale price- these deals are killin' me all over again!

I checked them too before ordering from Stromlo. He is shipping in the US for free KOA isn't.
With shipping they are the same price as Roberts deals, except you can order a single from KOA. KOA ships them from their warehouse, and they get loked at, not drop shipped.
There are advantages and disadvantages to each vendor.
Shopping around might save you at most 2 or 3 dollars, these things are priced ROCK bottom.

Hey, think Kult of Athena will give me a price adjustment on the sword I just bought? Lol. I'd only save about 40 bucks so it's not a huge deal, but do you think it'd even be worth emailing them?
I might just have to grab the EMSHS for 110 bucks though.

It couldn't hurt to ask, and it might even sweeten your chances if you tell them you want to buy another sword too

The one advantage I see is the KOA deal doesn;t require you to buy 2 swords- but really is it a bad thing to buy 2 ? Once you factor in shipping the price differences are very minimal (maybe around $25 at most). I would go with whatever seller you want to support the most. I can tell you that all the sellers have outstanding customer service

True, and it's been less than a week since I ordered it. I guess I'll shoot them an e-mail. Worst is they say no.
There's also a new Gen2 viking Seax I really like that's only 30 bucks. I might have to grab that too.
