Tendrax... that was pretty cool of them, props to KoA on that deal. Chris covered the reasons to go with store credit over a cash refund... but still, they did you a solid there. Very cool.

The little shop down the street from me is actually pretty nice. Prices on some stuff is a bit high, but the cigarettes are cheaper(main reason I go there), and the people who work there always greet with a rather over enthusiastic hello. Lol. I only ever really go in there for smokes and like a soda or something, but it's a routinely pleasant experience. Guess I'm lucky, eh?
...Wow we're kind of off topic, huh? Lol.

Man, its cool that Kult treated you like that, plus you got more sharp stuff coming. WIN!!!!!
I've never had anything but good experiences with them, but this time I ordered from Stromlo.
He was first to post about the deal. He has a good track record, and is a forumite. I had never dealt with him before, so wanted to be able to say that I had.
If I had ordered from Kult, I would have saved 12.50. Baaaaahhhhhhh. I spend more than that on Mt. Dew and beef jerky in a week, so no sweat.
If I didn't already have a GSOW, or if I wanted another one, I would have ordered from the SBG store.

Out of curiosity I wonder if they'd match the price by giving you a buy-one-get-one deal... Guess I have to go ask sometime, eh?
Main reason I haven't already snatched something up is pretty simple... not enough dinero right now! In a week or so though... yeah, we'll see...

I have a Dew addiction... I used to drink between 8-12 cans a day. I had to give it up 6 months ago when I started trying to get healthy again... I sure do miss it even still.

That's a tough one. I used to drink around a 2 liter bottle of caffeinated drinks a day for years. This year in August I gave up caffeine cold turkey. Those first two weeks were absolute hell. I am proud to say that I have not had a single caffeinated drink in six months with the exception of a Dr Pepper on my birthday. I really do miss Dr Pepper though, especially since I cannot find the caffeine free version of it around me.

Yeh.. the body becomes addicted to the caffeine and the sugar pretty badly. I've had a bad Mt. Dew habit since I was 13 years old... so we are talking a 22 year long habit of 8-12 cans a day... cold turkey 6 months ago. I felt AWFUL the first few weeks man... my body went nutz... and I still crave the crap out of it today.

Yeah, I sometimes feel like jumping over the table at my wife, stealing her Dr Pepper and caressing it while going my precious.

I could totally see my boss doing that. He goes through at least 10 cans a day, though that isn't entirely uncommon in engineering. We had a company meeting a while back...a couple of guys were opening up soft drink cans and then suddenly he whipped out a 2 liter from thin air, and drank it all before lunch.

You'd have definitely fit in in most of the jobs I worked. Us code monkeys live on Mountain Dew and Jolt. I'll never forget the time I ate an entire 1 pound bag of M&Ms and slammed back a six pack of Jolt to stay awake to finish something up. Plus, I had gone for a quick 3 mile run and was on an adrenaline high too. I was so wired I couldn't sit still and walking all around jumping from one piece of furniture to another. My co-workers were torn between laughing at me or worrying that I was gonna stroke out. All I know is, I'm never going to do that again.

Mmmm, Jolt Cola. All the sugar twice the caffine. Love it. What a great slogan.

I work third shift, I DO THE DEW. My consumption is limited to 3 12 Oz cans a day though. I usually drink a cup of joe when I get there, and throughout the evening I enjoy the sugary goodness of the Dew. I like a good cuppa, but there is NO replacement for the cold sweetness The guy that I regularly work with slams Monster and chews whole coffee beans. Yeah, he's in rare form come 0300, and to top it all he is 6"8" and weighs freakin 270. He gets into his gibbering baboon mode and seriously freaks out the Waffle House girls. Sometimes I just wanna hit him in the neck with a Tazer, but I am scared it would just wind him up more.

That one time at work, they were starting to think about having animal control come down and having them shoot me with elephant tranquilizers.
I can't drink that monster stuff. If I drink more than one, I can feel my heart start racing and I get as jittery as hell. I don't see so many people can pound those things down like its water.

Stay strong, if you can make it through the first couple of weeks, it gets easier. I just made sure to warn my family, friends and co-workers that I was going off caffeine and to please bear with me if I got irritable.

The only time time I've ever had a negative effect from caffeine was when I slammed back a rockstar coffee thing. Sort of like the Starbucks frappachinos, but with like 5 times the caffeine and all the energy drink stuff. Wasn't even that bad compared to you guys. Just shaky hands. It's rather odd, for the most part caffeine doesn't seem to do much for me. I probably dink 1-2 20oz Dew's a day, and one of those rockstar coffee things. Most days doesn't do much of anything.
Also, Mmmmmm, Dew. Sorry, I could never give that up.
