The web site is not 100% right now for which I apologize. if you would like to place a commission simply send us an email at triedandtruearmory@gmail.com! and we will reply with options and arrangements. Hiroshi will be updating the site tonight so those buttons should show up very soon.

I'm pretty excited about the payment plan option. One of these might just be my next sword. The question is which one!

well you might want to wait for the reviews could be they'll help you decide. the first five are all arming swords but there should be some good variety in them.

Congratulations to you both, ths is great news for all of sword-kind.
Quick question, do you plan on having the build your own (guards pommels etc) option for Gus's swords seeing as you can pre-order them?
All the best!

the Build your own thing may happen eventually, but right now I'm leaving Gus to decide which furniture works best on the sword. I really want to have swords that perform at the highest level possible and that will never be attainable with a BYO deal since the parts are all different weights and there just aren't many people out there who know swords as well as Gus.
also not offering the BYO lets us sell at a lower price due to reduced workload.
it is certainly an attractive deal though, but no; for the time being anyone who wants to do the BYO thing should stop by Christian Fletcher's. we will be placing a link to Christian's site and a recommendation of his work on our site for those people wanting scabbards and other upgrades. You'd have to ask Christian but it may be possible that he would sell people fittings they could swap out themselves thus gaining the BYO for just a little bit extra. the way ATrim swords are made they would probably fit.
I should mention though that we will be offering permanent assembly soon for $50 extra. it may take a couple months to get everything rolling but this is definitely a direction we want to go.

Ok everyone. The buttons & prices on the Mercenary Catalog page are all up. I'm still working on the interior pages for each blade, but feel free to place an order.

Think of the customer service that you're going to get.
"Hey Tom what do you know about this XBCa"?
"It's great, I'm cutting with it as we speak, Hold on a sec and I will cut the phone so you can hear it"
Congrats on the venture Tom.

thanks guys.
that was really funny Chuck, I nearly shot coffee out my nose!
I'm very interested in the XVIII.1510 also, shouldn't be too long before we get to see one.
also one more quick note (there's always more to talk about) I believe the 1315 we will carry will be the 1315+. we have a 1315+ on its way to us and I think it is going to be the normal 1315. RicWilly sure seems to like his so I think that is a good indication.

So what are the chances of being able to get some Atrims that are not on your menu? I have always wanted a 1562, but I have a feeling that is unlikely....

Figured you might get a kick out of it Serious grown up mode now- It's truly great to see this happening Tom, I know that you have to be stoked about it. The customer service comment was only half in jest you know, with the knowledge you posess I anticipate you being able to help folks acquire a blade that will fit their style well, and provide a performance level that up until recently has been out of reach for some. In hand experience related first person is invaluable when making a purchase.

Drew, if you are serious I will ask Gus if he is able to make one. there are some models that are going to be left behind because the design doesn't meet his current standards of performance. I don't know if this is one of them but I think it is not and if I am right I think there is a good chance he'll make one. send me a PM telling me if/when you will be ready to put some money down and I'll talk to Gus. we will need the deposite before Gus buys the steel so we can fund said steel but other wise things are pretty flexible.
Chuck, thank you for your support, I love swords and I do all this stuff anyway so it was a pretty natural fit to just start selling them. the hardest part of this whole game for me is going to be letting go of these fine swords once they have come into my possession. I am an addict after all, but like Christian Fletcher recently said to me: if this doesn't cure me of my addiction nothing will. I hope it does not. I don't know how or where or when, but I feel I will just HAVE to use that cut-the-phone line sometime.

Tom, unfortunately the fiancee put a moratorium on buying swords till the wedding, but I'll be in touch when I can get some money. Mostly I was just wondering if you were going to be open to the older models, sounds like we'll just see when the time comes! Thanks!

Easy, just use the cheap $20 pre-paid cell phones that come with 200 minutes. When you're almost out of minutes you can slice one in half. Google Voice can be used to keep the phone # consistent between phones.

actually I have a few old cell phones, a couple of which I have a real grudge against. I'm sure something funny will come of this...

Whoa. EPIC! I haven't checked out the site yet, but will you be offering the likewise Tried and True 1557? If so... how much? Also, will you offer a 'Tom-Sharp' sharpening service? That alone would make you my go-to place for Atrims... although I have a feeling that you've filled that role already. Off to look at the site! -Slayer
