I just need to figure out what to do with the shields. I wanted to hang them above the Fireplace but the wife drew a line about that. Oh well, I guess I'll just be happy with all that I am able to display.

14th Century Mercenary

I was a bit tired when I was putting this kit on. I forgot and put on the gorget under the pauldrons instead of on top which helps keep the first of the leather plates flat on my shoulders instead of sticking up all weird. All told with weapons and every piece of armor it comes to about 110 lbs or so total weight. Its not too bad as long as it's not 90 degree plus temperature. I though I was going to die at the one fair I went to where it was 98.
