Dave, you got nothing to be tempted about... Your Atlantean Warrior is working its way toward you as we speak! I'm in the process of fitting the wax guard and pommel to your blade right now. Yup, every Warrior's bronze furniture is being individually fitted to its blade before being cast . I'll post photos of your "sword in progress" Monday night.
$2849.50... whew! (but, then, it is the last one...)

Sorry, Dave - I couldn't get down to the foundry to take photos of your blade - spent the whole day at the hospital while my wife had a surgical procedure done on her wrist. (She's good now, just had a looooonnnng recovery from the anaesthesia)
I should be able to post tomorrow night.

Thank you for your kind thoughts, Dave, Edward. Other than being kind of dependent on me for a little while, she's doing pretty well. The surgury successfully relieved the pressure on her wrist tendon sheaths that had been keeping her in excruciating pain for weeks. She says the recovering from getting cut is a picinic compared to how it felt before! This photo sucks, but it kind of shows the wax guard and pommel fitted to your blade, Dave. I'll try to get a better shot.

Thanks, Dave! While I'm fitting the waxes onto the blade, my minds eye is seeing bronze where the wax is... annnnnd I start drooling... its embarrassing... (and kind of messy too, buts lets not talk about that...)

Its been a while - so I wanted to post some new photos. The blades have all been given a preliminary clean-up; rust etc... all gone, so you can get a better view of the actual metal, pre-finishing: Blade #2 - DS Blade #3 - DC Blade #4 - TN Blade #5 - EC Blade #6 Blade #8 As you can see, besides casting the bronze furniture, theres a little bit of work to be done on the blades as well. And its difficult working on these when you're drooling all over them. A big motivation for me is that I won't get to finish my own blade til I get all these done!

Just tryin to make a laugh. Only thing I'm desperate for is a job. Green with envy maybe, but not about the swords, he's doing something I'd love to be doing, creating art , working with his hands. Hell, you could give me a stick and a pocket knife, and I'll find something in it bring out.

hahahahaahahahahaha.. Sean, Brad, you guys crack me up! Brad, remember when we were talking about bidding ex's for ErnieR's Maletesta? Got pix? hahahahaha... just kidding... PM me your address - I've got a pocketknife and a poplar branch with your name on it! Just ki..... well, you know...
Seriously though, Brad, today of all days, I am extremely thankful to have finally landed on my feet right where I belong (other than on a beach in the South Pacific, that is...). Its been 10 clean and sober years since I came out of pretty much the same hell as I think you may have (me - revived from alcohol poisoned dead, waking up choking with tubes down every freaking orifice available, including a couple I didn't even know I had...). Every day I thank my Higher Power and friends and family (whats left of it) for the 2nd (1000th?) chance to get things a lot closer to right.
So all this awkward and embarassing baring of soul is just my Thanksgiving Day way to say "good on you, Brother, for everything you've already accomplished!!!" and that it does work if you work it. Unbelievalbe good things are surely ahead of you, Brad! One day at a time.
