razordagger.com/store/index.php?main_page=page_2&zenid=8adcec7fd3a7d15e07d8d986d6e935f2"For the first time in the history on Planet Earth; we have a practical, lethal, and totally concealed massive sword fitted into a weapon system called the BeltSword." Wow! A sales pitch like that just makes me want to buy a dozen for my closest friends and family! Screw historically accurate weapons; I want the blade that has revolutionized the history of Planet Earth! --Edward P.S. /sarcasm P.PS. Buys the occasional gimmicky weapon . . . just not this one.

Gotta be careful with the razor in the thong though!!! You know, that's not really that funny. Some of the hardened criminals put needles and razors in their underwear so when they are being searched... As far as the "seaxy" model... I don't know. She looks like she might not be a she...

Wow, I'm surprised that one isn't on the list! The following weapons are prohibited from entering Canada:
* automatic knives such as switchblades; * centrifugal knives such as flick knives or butterfly knives; * gravity knives; * mace or pepper spray designed for use on humans; * nunchaku sticks; * shuriken (throwing stars); * manrikigusari or kusari (fighting chains); * finger rings with blades or other sharp objects projecting from the surface; * Taser and stun guns shorter than 480 mm; * crossbows designed for one-handed use; * crossbows 500 mm or shorter; * Constant Companion (belt-buckle knife); * push daggers; * devices shorter than 30 cm concealing a knife blade (e.g. knife-comb); * spiked wristbands; * blowguns; * Kiyoga or Steel Cobra batons (spring batons); * spring-loaded rigid batons (triggered by a button or lever); * morning stars; and * brass knuckles.

...when I have a surplus of cash, I may just go for this one, if only to see if these things are any sort of decent cutter... and it would be a funny thing to review. Looks like the swords themselves are pretty disposable, considering how many of 'em they give you per order... but I don't doubt you could kill someone with one.

There are alot of flexible and functional swords out there that could be adapted or re-gripped to fit a belt scabbard like that. My biggest concern would be the question of the steel used to make their version and how limber the overall temper was. I don't really doubt that a belt sword could cut something or scare the sh*t out of someone; but I would like to see it tested including the ability to effectively thrust. I'd put more credence into the shorter design (24") over the larger ones; as they would be apt to have stiffer blades. I am going to write them and see if they will let me review one. ***Update***I just wrote the CEO about getting a review sample for the SBG site. I'll post the response here if there is one.

Here is a video of someone who made their own version of this idea. Using a band saw blade! He shows it cutting bottles too!
He gives a little info at the end, showing some stills of the construction, plus a little info in the description. "A few bottle cuts and pics of a flexible sword made from a band saw blade and disguised as a wearable belt. My version of a urumi. The handle is only held on with a piece of copper wire until I can find some bolts to replace it."
Why buy some BS gimmick just make your own! ;D

They actually do sell the system to secure to your own belt, if you check out the site under accesories razordagger.com/store/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=2&products_id=4&zenid=8adcec7fd3a7d15e07d8d986d6e935f2I think you also need these too, to attach the clips razordagger.com/store/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=2&products_id=10&zenid=8adcec7fd3a7d15e07d8d986d6e935f2each package cost $29.95 so $60 bucks + shipping for a do it yourself provided you have a belt and sword of your own. I think the only part that is actually sharpened is the edge on the tip. I think the rest is actually dull. But here is a video of it cutting/chopping for some reason no sound even though he talks.

I think I'll stick with my Taurus, as awesome as it would be to have a large sharp pointy object for conceal/carry, it just seems a little impractical with the way things are going nowadays.
