I'm looking for the strongest most durable swords available. Indestructable swords....the kind you could beat on for hours every day.
I'm opposed to rat tail tangs. The kukri knives are an example of the inferiority of rat tail over full tang. The rat tail kukris eventually fall apart after long heavy use while the full tang kukris with rivets last forever.
So what do you all think? Which swords are the most durable...the strongest?

A pen, because it is mightier than a sword... Kidding man, if you are into katana, try Himalayan Import Everest Katana.

Indestructible swords? Better ask Connor MacLeod.
For something actually real but tough.. I suppose Generation 2 and Darksword Armory swords are usually considered the toughest beaters.

Gen2 and DSA for euros, Cheness 9260, DF Musha line and Hanwei Raptor for kats. Regarding euros, H/T are pretty darn tough too and unlike the two mentioned, they feel like swords. However, it seems that at least DSA is seriously improving their swords, you might want to look into that. Still not near the performance of the H/T but they come closer.

I agree with your choices but would add the Cold Steel katana to the list, I have a warrior and it is one. tough. sword. Also, I have the Gen 2 12th Century sword, re-designed model and this one has a lively lighter blade and actually does "feel like a sword". ;D

Well the OP didnĀ“t so much want a tough sword as a tacticool sword. Most of which in the cheap range is utter crap. There is the old gus tactical swords. Gage makes some very nice ones as well. Although the best advice given before the whole hic-up was to get a cold steel machete. Not exactly a sword...but it would do all the OP wanted...other then be a sword of course.

It depends on what you're looking for I suppose. If you want an overbuilt blade, DSA is your best option. If you want a blade that handles like a real sword and is tough to boot, Albion, Atrim, or Tinker are your best options. H/T or VA would be your next best options for the sub-300 range.

Gen 2 templar was pretty good the few times I bashed it against stuff... of course it's taken by slayer now, so I couldn't really tell you...

What is that thing Ric? It looks gnarly... YRX is correct, Sean. I pulled that pic off their site a few years ago. Can't find it there now. Just as well, love the look but was way out of my price range. Great vid, Master, feels like the first time.

Angel Sword. you know they might just be the toughest sword ever made, I don't know, but I just cannot get past their designs. they make me want to puke! I'm sure some people love them and think they are beautiful, I'm just not one of them. I was just looking at one of their swords and I have a question: what is "Angel stone"? Angel stone? really? now they have a rock all their own too? is it virtually indestructible too? that's what they use for the grip material. it's kind of a pale green color but I can't really tell anything else about it from the pictures.
