Holy schnitzel sticks, guys! Lookie here: www.albion-swords.com/moat.htmI see some pretty interesting blade shapes too. Pretty tempted to get one meself. Was going to post in customization board, as this would probably be most applicable there, but I'm going to play it safe and post it in general, lol.

Now, most of these are just blanks, right? As in, no grinding, or at best partial grinding? It'd be a neat DIY project if you had access to a CNC mill, or some other stock-removal method, no doubt!

$30.00 for An albion blade with some surface rust??? My god. I know, right? That's why I made the post. Seems like a damn steal to me, and I figured some other SBG-ers would like that sort of information. Hahah! Twitter has finally proved itself useful! **EDIT** Wait. Holy S#*t. I'm calling dibs. Holy crap. It's like meeting your long-lost identical twin or something. Alright, nobody buy that. Lunaman has called dibs lmao!

Whoops, this is going to be a double post. My b, lol. Now, most of these are just blanks, right? As in, no grinding, or at best partial grinding? It'd be a neat DIY project if you had access to a CNC mill, or some other stock-removal method, no doubt! Via Albion Facebook page: "We are cleaning up the shop and selling off the various flotsam and jetsam that has accumulated over the last 10 years. We have updated the Moat Sale page with new items and will be adding more as fast as Bear can take photos. One item that may be of interest are rusty blade blanks that would potentially make for some fun home projects." "We also have some rare collector pieces from Jody Samson, memorabilia from Conan, Highlander, Sleepy Hollow and others that we are putting out for bid. Contact Mike Sigman at 1-888-806-4356 or at quest@albion-swords.com if you are interested in bidding on those items."

Wow was that quick - swords are gone. I e-mail Mike, he replied saying he had 4 swords left, 15 minutes later I called to order and they were all gone. He said check back next week....

Oh, whew. Good thing I ordered early enough to get one. I spent the good part of 2 hours debating whether I should get one or not. lol. I'm not very good at making quick decisions.

If anyone gets one and they need help to resurface them it won't be too bad, get in touch and I'll help you with some advice to spruce it up.

Arrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrgggggggggggggghhhhhhhhhhhhhh, (*string of language I'm not entirely comfortable hearing the kiddo repeat*) Why when I'm broke....... I know that set is gone, but they said they have more. An albion blank, a belt sander, and some of Brenno's old tutorial threads could equal a very happy me.

Darn, I missed this one too. There were several blade blanks they sold, that any one of 'em would have made me a happy camper.

Damn it looks like they have all gone! Mind you for $30 I’m not surprised that they were snapped up. I’m broke but I would have done without food for a few days to get hold of one of these.

Geez! I can't believe I didn't check this thread the last couple of days! Hopefully they'll be finding some more blanks as ANY of the swords would have been acceptable for me. And THIRTY bucks!!! I've spent more then that on... well... something significantly less important!
Always next week.

Lucky people, those of you living within US borders. I just got to know that the shipping costs to Europe for a single blade blank is whopping 180 dollars....
