Does it not look beautiful from the review pictures? I like the looks of the Norman better... for Viking swords, I'm in love with the VA Hedemark. It will be mine, of yes, it will be mine. Not if its mine first

Well when I cash in that Mega Millions ticket I'll buy both of you the Hedemark. And I'll buy Johnathon three swords.

Twas my second choice at the moment. Bit at the Gen 2 ring hilt. I am sure it is a step above my windlasses and other gear. Still feel a little what if already......a VA LS monkey is all over my back.

I've wanted to get my hands on the Gen 2 Irish sword for awhile... I have a feeling I'd like it quite a bit.

Irish Ring pommels are cool but most of the ones I've seen have a POB I don't like, then the ones I DO like are just a little bit too super-ultra-expensive.

Has anyone reviewed the VA 304? Do you have one? Go on spill'em what makes the 304 a better choice?.....My monkey is saying." I gots ta know" like the PUNK on Dirty Harry

I have a gold platting machine and I think I will be plating that cool Hilt and guard. I am going to do some etching on the blade as well and plate the etchings. I will be sure to do a review too.

Here you go: /index.cgi?board=swordreviews&action=display&thread=4412&page=1#70951 (1st generation early run) /index.cgi?board=swordreviews&action=display&thread=4340&page=1#69618 (1st generation early run) /index.cgi?board=swordreviews&action=display&thread=9979&page=1#161386 (Updated current model) /index.cgi?board=swordreviews&action=display&thread=9979&page=1#161386 Here's one that's customized a bit: /index.cgi?board=swordreviews&action=display&thread=11940 Here's one that's customized a LOT (can't buy one like this, though): /index.cgi?board=swordreviews&action=display&thread=11536&page=1#187254 I own an AT304S (with "antique brown" custom leather) and it is by far and away the best handling, most satisfying sword I own. You will not be disappointed.

I love this video of Shadowhowler cutting with my AT304s.
here's my first time cutting with it:
my At304s is the second sword used to cut this double roll of tatami with a bamboo core.
it was the THIRD sword used in this video and the second sword to be used on that second target which was a triple roll of Mugen Dachi tatami. it was also the sword I went back to which I used to cut not only the triple roll but the peg inside it too.
yeah the AT 304s is an amazing bit of sword. if you don't have one and you like longswords, then you want one.

I would love to see pics of it when you are done! All the Gen 2 swords I have had have been very durrable... but I can not speak for the Irish Bastard sword, I've never had that one in hand.

So, that's ShadowHowler, eh? Sean, you look like an old, dear friend of mine- I'm gonna have to show him this clip if I ever get a chance to see him again, he'll get a laugh out of it!
I thought it was great that you guys got together to get some cutting in...much better than doing it by yourself (altho, that's great fun too).
