So if your already a fan of Oblivion but have yet to explore modding it out go surfing for some and make a good game great! I know this is kinda a dumb question but is Modding only available for the PC version? Cause I've played Oblivion to death and the stuff you just said sounded like a dream come true! Oh, uh, Ahem. Soul Calibur 4 is the closest thing I've played as far as one on one sword combat. And is it just me or does anyone else look in games to see if the katanas are traditional? I know it doesnt really matter but I'm always curious. Oblivion's Katana has a hamon, but no kissaki from what I could tell. Ryu Hayabusa's katana in Ninja Gaiden 2 is probably the best looking katana I've seen in a game so far. As far as big war type fighting, if you can stand bad voice acting Dynasty Warriors 6/Empires is a fun sword/spear/halbred game. It's set in China, yet there is a poor recreation of a katana in that game. However, characters with traditional weapons have motion captured moves from actual Kung-fu. On a side note it would be awsome if Paul could get a review on a Kwan Dao!...though I don't think so...it's a halbred...

Yet another reason why a great many Oblivion fans won't do this- they have it for the X360. Like me.

I also have it for the 360, but will most likely pick up the PC version as well. It's less than 20 bucks.

I'm waiting for Assassins Creed 2 and have been ever since it was announced, YEAH BABY!
Also with that Dragon game, sex scene in a video game? That is somewhat new, although I do remember the rather amusing sequence in God of War where you had to pleasure the two prostitutes on the ship with button press sequence.

^ By the dragon game do you mean Dragon Age: Origins? It's a game Bioware's been working on for awhile. Got delayed til November last time I checked. God, I love Bioware.

I hope that dragon age turns out to be better than the videos I have seen of the gameplay because it doesn't look all that great. Might just have to wait for Diablo 3, though only God knows when that one is going to come out.

Yup,that's the new one i was referring to,me only have pc,so will have to get some sort of emulator if there is one to play it. I think I was like 10 yrs when I first played it,it was one of those memorable games for me,especially the multiplayer co-op part.hell I've wasted a lot of coins in those days ;D

I remember the game box...a heavily muscled dude with chics.
Love your avatar; Subzero was my all-time favorite MK character...even used his name early on when the internet was still on dial-up. lol

Mine was Scorpion, but I all the ninjas were cool as hell in the MK world...
Reptile quickly became one of my favorite after he started to show up in their games...
Have anyone ever played an arcade game, way back when, called Time Killers (or something like that, fuzzy memories)?
It was a like a Street Fighter-esque game, with cheezy graphics, with over-the-top gore (it was during the MK craze)...
It featured warriors from different era of time, from cavemen to future light-saber wielding people fighting and cutting each other's limbs off???
That game was the ultimate humorous sword-related fighting game!!! You get your arms chopped off and you still fought...

Absolutely and without question, not only the best sword related game, but also the greatest game of all time... The Legend Of Zelda

I don't know why nobody mentioned two of the best sword-related PC Games before, but Severance: Blade of Darkness and Vampire the Masquerade - Redemption are more than worth trying, although they are a little bit old now.

Soul Calibur(whichever).....the first one. the one on the dreamcast and the most recent one. All are fun and can be taken on a very simple level or you can go a bit deeper with the gameplay and get all technical and semprini.
Guilty Gear and Blazblue, AWESOME.
Secret of Mana on the snes.
