Care to post a photo of one? thanks, slav my mistake, i shouldnt skip through so fast. appologuies all round. a pic of a bottle, i'll get right on it.

I thought the milk jugs were the better option too...I was just putting out a suggestion to keep it fair world wide. We use 1 us gallon milk jugs, which I think have a wider base than the other milk jugs around the world. That gives us a distinct advantage I think. Anyhow, I also thought of pool noodles, but...are those things pretty standard the world over? I'm actually looking forward to playing around with this lol. Cris would a gallon milk jug be a 4.5 liter milk jug? damn thats a lot of milk, lol, and what sounds like an excellent bottle afterwards. biggest you can get here is 2 liters.

Not that much milk lol...my family (me, wife, 3 kids all over 2yrs old) go through a gallon a day or so. Cris

Wow, those look like they would be a better target for skill improvement for sure. I like cutting thicker plastic myself. The only challenge with milk jugs is edge alignment and angle for clean repeatable cuts. That looks of a similar thickness to our laundry detergent jugs. We also get orange juice in a similar style, but different sized jug.
Our milk jugs are as pictured in the first post by slav...partially opaque, very thin plastic, in a relatively short, squat form.
Wonder what media would be comparable world wide?

milk is usually sold here by the pint (564ml) im still dreaming about a gallon of milk I thought the milk jugs were the better option too...I was just putting out a suggestion to keep it fair world wide. Cris you may have the advantage but i accept the challenge.

Rammstein? What kind of Albion were you using? My lurvely ritter. I wouldn't call this sword fast, but it is very precise in its accuracy. If I look at a stationary target, such as a leafon a tree, I know without a doubt that that leaf will be cloven in equal halfs if I swing the sword at it. If I desire to only take off about an inch of the leaf, I can do that too - the sword is exceptionally precise, it's almost scary.

Just found this. Both my DF swords are down for repairs, but I have a PPK coming, when that gets here I'm in. How about bleach bottles, are those standard the world over? For tip control I use a 1 gal milk jug and leave the back wall intact. All cuts done on the draw with katana.

Kenpachi, your 2-liter milk looks like it should be an acceptable target for the competition. Although it is taller and thus may afford more cuts, i am guessing [from the look of it] that it is a bit thicker than ours, thus making it a bit harder to cut; and balancing out the tallness factor.
I give you the 'go ahead'!

Oh ok. Yeah the proportions just make it look tall, i guess. Ours are about a foot tall.

Thanks Rammstein, that IS a very nice looking sword.
I am sure that kind of accuracy takes a lot of skill too!
