I did a quick trial run to see how it handles abuse. My brother in law gave me a full 2 handed swing with his boken across the chest piece and i didnt even feel a thing. I'm pretty sure he got the worst of it lol. Most of the pieces are leather lined for comfort and protection which seems to make a big difference.

Very metal looking. You do Dethklok proud, brother.
One recommendation however. Instead of buying belts, get bulk strap and buckles on eBay. Much cheaper in the long run and it's an easy start to work on your leather working skills.
Keep up the good work!

actually, i got lucky. I got all my belts for 50 cents each so it only cost me about 15-20 bucks total for all the belts.

Nice Armor, I'd tighten the left leg armor a bit, but thats just personal taste.
You could be a figure of Heman, hehe

yeah i still need to put a strap on the bottom leg yet. thinking of doing a bottom and mid leg strap to keep it all together. The suit is not finished yet, still have lots of finishing touches yet and a few more pieces to add but its comming alone nicely i think.

I love it! Although for me, I would have had that left leg done up as a war skirt/kilt, it looks really badass; nice work. Wish I were that creative.

Just start small. I made some cheap crappy armor pieces a long time ago. Then one day i got some better steel and tools and just sorta worked my way up. I'm not claiming i have fantastic armor or anything but its a start. And once you get going its a pretty good time if you enjoy that sort of thing.

DUDE!!! Badass! Great attention to detail and ingenuity. Kinda reminds me of the Shredder from Ninja Turtles. Awesome work.

Make sure you get some shots of you punching things with that cestus-like covering on your fist. Those outstretched bolts look like they're just itching to get sunk into flesh.
