That really makes me sad to hear, I was really excited about him making this show. My group has never played in the dragonlance setting but anything like this would be extremely welcome, especially made by such a fan and player as Joe.
Sadly Hasbro and especially Wizards of the Coast have a lot of internal problems so I'm not surprised, I can't say the company has much of my support anymore.

I'd rather he connect with people at Paizo and build within their Universe. WOTC has made some very concerning choices in recent years. Consistently, and repeatedly. I think he'd have more creative freedom and be given a more fair deal if he avoided all thongs WOTC in this endeavor.

Probably for the best, it'd be more than likely woke as hell...
Being a big Dragon Lance fan myself, mostly the books which I've read to death and listened to in audio form. Always liked the 2nd edition material especially the art in the manuals. Never played much in campaign form, I think a few back in the mid 90s when I was a kid.
The animated movie was decent but poorly animated and the script didn't do the books justice. But yea I'd rather not have it than see it get ruined by woke Hollywood. I mean they ruined LotR with Rings of Power, ruined Willow, and basically anything else they touch. Even WotC did that ridiculous Magic LotR "Woke Wash" because Aragorn had to be black just to be black...
So yea definitely for the best.

I love the aesthetics of the dragonlance era. There's no way a show could do them justice(to me).
