This is hardly the place for such a discussion, but in short it all stems from the fact that Rob is part of a metal band called Tau Cross, he included some lyrics that quoted Gerard Menuhin's Tell the Truth and Shame the Devil. I have not read it but the book apparently denies the holocaust.

Personally I'm not gonna let myself offend by lyrics in a song and immediately believe that is what the writer stands for, growing up on Norwegian Black Metal I've heard far worse and I'm pretty sure most of them aren't murderers who want the human race dead.

But in todays outrage and cancel culture that will inevitably happen, especially with such a sore subject.

Rob put out a statement about it himself that you can read with some quick googling, from my view it does look like he fell down the conspiracy rabbit hole a bit, for me it doesn't matter..So few things we own in life are ethically sourced even when they claim they are, he can have as many conspiracy theories he wants, if he makes swords I want and runs the business in a good way I will buy them.

I didnt know about the situation as im not into metal music so was unaware until someone posted about it on my reddit thread, while its messed up and i wont be ordering from rob again i will seperate the maker from his work but it is rather unfortunate, i do agree with strigoil on his points tho

Surprise you are wrong :) its a customized VA norman sword, I had them make the grip to 3.5 inches and added a wheel pommel.

I received an Irish Scian or Skean from Tod Cutler yesterday. It's the dagger of the Gallowglass mercenary from the 14th through the 16th centuries. It's based on a find from the river Shannon. The blade is LONG, narrow, and thick with a single edge. The grip is so simple it's almost comical. The sheath is nice and has an interesting lanyard piece. Overall, it's a satisfying piece. You can really appreciate how no-nonsense this thing is. No decoration, no semprinis, no rondels, nothing fancy. It's just a thick piece of tempered steel to shove into flesh and bone. You gotta respect that. The grip is really small too. I have really big hands like hams, so it just barely fits.

Mainz type Gladius, also made by Rudolf Krutsky. 288 Euro shipping included, sharpened with scabbard. Awesome for the price. Narrow blade with a little bit of a hollow grind. Beats everything from Deepeeka by far, Windlass has nicer and better wood work, but often wavy or bent blades. It easily matches up to the VA Actium Holger had some years ago - for half the price!
